Never used Typhoon but got to c.85% through and just lost the will to play it. Should probably go back I guess but kinda meh about it. Played and replayed DE1 loads for each storyline and did another run through it a couple of years back but this one didnt grab me in the same way. Enjoyed what I played of it but : othergamestoplay:

Just replayed this, hardest difficulty, ghosts and pacifist, was quite a challenge. (did all the side stuff also and saved Malik)

Also got the Missing Link from the -75% sale and did that too (hardest + factory zero [no guns, no grenades, no augs]) little short but more deus ex like, IE no stupid bosses and more alternative ways to do stuff.

Saw this thread get bumped.. Was about to reinstall and replay becayse I remembered the game being fun.. Saw the comment about boss fights.. Ugh..

Well, once you know the gimmicks of the bosses they are easy: 1) throw gas canister at him, throw an explosive barrel at him, repeat, no bullets needed. 2) get electric resistance aug, shoot generators. 3) timed takedown when he jumps over a wall (or just let him kill himself with his grenades...)

EMP grenades, fully upgraded pistol, enjoy cutscene. Typhoon is a bit cheesy, and useless the rest of the game assuming you're playing stealth.

There's no shame in using cheesy overpowered stuff to skip cheesy retarded bosses. Pretty sure that's why the typhoon exists, because it really isn't that useful anywhere else as there are very few single (or very clustered) things you can get to point-blank other than the bosses. (Plus it is cheesy, so boss only use is good!)

Or just know the cheese for each boss and beat them in around 10s without typhoon (and two of them without even shooting once...)
