Roccat kaves are pro as fuck.
Slight annoyance with pads and the top of my head. Small adjustment fixes it. Sound is awesome, 5.1 is pro as hell for dodging zombies and what not.

Bought Sony MDR-V6 headphones this morning, and I'm really enjoying them so far. Can't comment on absolute audio quality, not an expert; but the build quality and feel are awsum. The only trouble is that now I've effectively lost a mike, since it doesn't have any :P
Any recommendations?

I am in the market for a new headset and I have been humming and hawwing at buying a Razer Megalodon.
just posting here to ask is there anything better than that for the sameish price/cheaper or is the headset bad and I should look for something else?

Sennheiser pc350 should be in the same price range I think. I love the pair I have but I've never been much for Razer stuff that aren't mice so ymmv.
Am I the only one that uses a G700 in wired mode?
As for headsets, I prefer using a pair of Sennheiser HD380 Pro combined with the mic of my webcam, nothing beats the FCs yells in high definition sound![]()
Guns make the news, science doesn't.
Six shooters ruined PvP.
So I bought a Steelseries 6g v2. I have only one question for you if you don't already own a mechanical keyboard:
Why don't you own a mechanical keyboard?
'I'm pro life. I'm a non-smoker. I'm a pro-life non-smoker. WOO, Let the party begin!'
I swapped a Logitech illuminated one for it and I find it a lot nicer to use. I mean I bought the Logi one thinking I'd use all the macros and shit but I don't MMO, and the few extra buttons I need are on my mouse. So the Logi keyboard just ended up annoying me, and the smaller key size was really getting irritating.
You can get illuminated mechanical keyboards, you know...
'I'm pro life. I'm a non-smoker. I'm a pro-life non-smoker. WOO, Let the party begin!'
Haven't fps'ed on it yet so can't say, but Dota and LoL feel much nicer, even though there's very few keys. Typing on it is fine to me, Browns feel nicer but not by much. Blues feel nicest but dat noise.

I'm sure it's frustrating to be sperging about how someone said "no, not doing that yet" - but we've had 7 years to learn to pace ourselves after killing a block. And I dare say -- we've gotten quite good at it.
Sorry if it doesn't suit the armchair generals who have never committed to anything for more than 2 months, but by now we've learned that we really don't give a shit about what you think v0v.
for me they are quite comfortable, longest I had them on was for ~5 hours and it was fine
maybe it's because after having akg k518 on for 6 hours straight any headphones will be comfortable to me lol
also, remember that they aren't that good when it comes to actual sound quality, I myself bought them for looks and the hidden mic
I don't say they're shit, but these are not beyerdynamics or grados, but I guess in this price range they're ok
for gaming headsets I recommend going through this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1014902/o...#post_13493402 (I found it recently somewhere on teamliquid forums)
I think the audio from the siberia v2 is 'reasonable', I own them and also a pair of Sennheiser HD215s, the Senns sound a mile better for not much more money but obviously no microphone. They're also much less comfortable for extended listening. The Siberias are like all 'gaming' headsets - light in the midrange and slightly bass-heavy. But that's fine.

Ok so left mouse button on my rat 5 just broke, I knew this mouse was POS the moment i used it's back/forward buttons (ie. they're also shit and feel like pressing a membrane button)
so I'm looking for new mouse, it must have regulated dpi (because I'm used to using exactly 1250 DPI) and well, better quality
what I found at my favourite local shop:
-deathadder
-g500/g400
-mx518 (sic!)
-(edit) ss sensei
I played once with deathadder and it felt quite good, maybe it was just a little too big
what do you recommend?
I like my Roccat Kone+. Bit bigger, but you can set your DPI to whatever, and cycle through presets.
