AURUM would still be created by PLEX, but players can sell any amount of AURUM for any amount of isk. Contract only? Market dynamics should keep the isk price or AURUM in line with the isk price of PLEX, though maybe a small premium?

Would allow people to buy things with small Aurum prices that are incapable of being sold through the market or contracts, author having to buy and spilt a PLEX themselves.

Contracts are a hack. When it comes to core revenue streams, doing it right is generally considered a good idea.

I think a lot of this sort of stuff was scrapped in the great realignment, but if paintjobs are going to be sold, it only makes sense to allow this sort of thing.
