Sainbury's ZA chenin Blanc £3.79 - my wine of the week. First <£4 bottle for a while I haven't ahd to mix with a fost drink to make it potable. only 10%/vol so I woudn't buy it again for 'duty' alchol but if I was buying it to enjoy it would be right up there.

Macon-Charnay 2010 white borgongne or something. I don't know how to make the little hat thingy above the 'a' in Macon.

It's pretty fucking nice. It tastes like summer.

De Pibrac armagnac VS. I wanted the 10-year VSOP but my wine shop was sold out of that, so what the hell, I got the ordinary.

It tastes like very good malt whiskey. I mean surprisingly like. If you were to give me a blind tasting of this, I'd call it whiskey (with a slight caramel/fruit aftertaste), like a good, particularly smooth lowland malt.

£14.99. Crazy price. Buy some if you like whiskey and fancy branching out a little.

Also it doesn't give filthy toxic hangovers like whiskey does.

I currently have a thing for Rekorderlig cider ~ I've had the pear, apple, apple + cinnamon + vanilla (winter cider), and have a bottle of the lime + strawberry chilling in the fridge. Need to try the other two.

    Hurrah for Sweden.

    Hi All,
Just finished coffee and drink 2 cups of coffee daily as coffee prevents from diabetes, cancer, stroke, heart disease and muscle pains. Coffee is great antioxidant and used to treat short term memory.

I finally got around to trying the Rekorderlig Strawberry & Lime cider last night. Fucking amazing - I guess you'd call it a dessert cider? I was worried the lime would over-rule the strawberry taste but that wasn't the case at all. Anyway, it was great.

Sadly ... I don't know if Australia gets the Mango & Raspberry cider. Which is a shame. I shall just have to console myself with more Strawberry & Lime ...
