Now I don't want to go all America bashing especially as others already started, but the fact of the matter is that since at last a decade ago, probably more, Swedish "high school" students know more about the USA then the same age students in 'murrica know about their own country. Even basic facts like population etc. Never mind when you compare knowledge about the rest of the world, or math/physics, where the difference is much larger. And it's not just Sweden but in that one comparison that raised some eyebrows back then they came out on top. Lack of even basic education in 3rd world countries is naturally even worse, leaving a higher rate of ignoramuses, but using a standard set by developing nations for the most powerful country of the world (with most of the top universities too) is ofc ridiculous.
