More important than anything else, urine is sterile and sterilizes stuff that it touches while it's still hot. Ammonia in urine as mentioned is very little, the sterile property is more important. That said, if you've got athletes foot, piss on your feet, works wonders.
I had a friend who managed to step on one once, he was paralyzed for about 12 hours. I on the other hand, stepped on a pretty big one once. While it hurt, there wasn't much to it other than needing to wash it off. I didn't even notice it an hour later. I think the one I stepped on was either dead or getting there though.
Pretty sure pissing on yourself is a myth and the only real benefit is washing the salt from the wounds. e: what Cue said makes sense too.
Vinegar is what you want, that's why there's usually bottles of the stuff lying around outside surf clubs.

"You have virtually no chance of surviving the venomous sting of a box jelly fish. The pain is so excruciating and overwhelming that you would most likely go into shock and drown before reaching the shore. "
"he blue-ringed octopus is the size of a golf ball but its poison is powerful enough to kill an adult human in minutes. There's no known antidote"
"Cone shells look very pretty, but several types are known to be very dangerous to humans. The venom of some contains the most potent neurotoxins known to man."

"This species found all over the continent is Australia’s most famous deadly spider. The red striped spider has a neurotic venom that induces severe pain,"
"Known as one of Australia’s most deadly creatures, the brown snake has a venom which quickly kills if it goes untreated"
"The darkly colored spiders resembling tarantulas have fangs and chelicerae with ample venom glands, that can even penetrate fingernails or shoes. "
Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with Australia?

Just pouring a sterile fluid on something does not sterilize it. The fluid sterility is a property of the "sterile fluid" and can't just be transferred to things by contact. In fact the moment you pour a sterile fluid from it's container, there is a incredibly high chance you have just made it non-sterile. This post is so wrong![]()

And yet, using a sterile fluid to cleanse a wound of non-sterile stuff is p. standard. Nobody is arguing the fluid is still sterile afterwards, but the wound has a much lower chance of getting infected now. Seriously, if you had to choose between using a perfectly clear and fresh mountain spring to clean a leg wound and pissing on your own leg, guess which choice would be worse?
