Just had 1750+ ranked game without a jungler. We had olaf + irelia top. Everyone completely chill, no one flaming for their picks (4th and 5th). Everyone playing it like it was vs bots. People dive, roam, play hyper aggresive while laughing. No one gave a fuck and we won.

Did 1 game for lulz as full on jewplank with gold/10 quints, gold/10 masteries, and 3x gold/10 items. With the mana reduct on q killing shit you can basically hang back and Q everything and not run out of mana and take little harass. Basically the opposite of the previous topplank where you would last hit with AAs and Q to harass. You basically can't harass much or at all, but works pretty well as farm lane. Played against a terrible xin who also built philo/hog/avarice and decided to farm with me because he is an idiot, so not sure how viable it is against a tough lane. He went all in on me at lvl 3 and almost killed me but then played passive from then on allowing me to farm nonstop.

No promises that it's good, but your bog standard support stuffs would be 3x GP5s into normal-ish build. Philo, HoG, Kage's into Sheen + Rageblade would be my bet. You're going to be 'support' insomuch as you don't care as much about CS and have a bit more sustain for poking. I'd still level ravage first, because anything else is stupid and wasteful. If the game isn't over by that point, get a hat and a giant's belt, then turn sheen into lichbane. Sell GP5s after they break even for instant gold boost to get shiny items. By mid-game you should be acting as a roaming ganker between bot and mid, ward the enemy jungle to harass and/or kill the enemy jungler. Might almost be worth taking smite just for stealing shit from the jungler.

CV/Smite support Eve. Either the most bullshit, horrible idea ever, or the scariest motherfucking surprise support ever.

Won a ranked with a maokai mid on my team vs orianna. He actually won lane thanks to an early gank, i was mumu jungle and the amount of cc on ganks was just filthy. Mao basically farmed til he had a few items then roamed 24/7 while i pushed mid when i didnt have ult, almost like we switched roles 1/2way through.
