Won a ranked at 1530 elo as support ashe... true terror. They banned ali and janna, our team took soraka as mid to counter their karthus, and their team had nunu jungle. That was all 4 of my supports, but luckily support ashe is OP.

Hah, it's surprisingly good. You're just lucky your team didn't instantly explode into rage and surge/revive afk.

Yeah everyone was joking around in lobby and havin a good time so I knew it would be a fun game no matter what. After soraka picked mid, I was like "welp im fine supporting but that was my last support.... Oh wait I still have nunu no problem." Obv their team immediately picks nunu, and many lols were had. After some discussion they actually told me to be support ashe so none of them thought I was trolling.

We actually had an OP team comp with Soraka mid, twitch jungle, rumble top, sivir/ashe bot. It def helped that we were against lolvayne in lane, and ashe volley + crit arrow (her passive actually helped a shitton since I would barely ever be actually AAing, was like 100% crit every time i harassed) + sivir combo was just blowing vayne the fuck up. I got us a few kills in lane and picked up arrow assists and wound up having 2x dorans and a BT so for midgame team fights we had basically had 3 AD carries. BT obv super suboptimal since i can't farm it up, but I had previously bought a BF sword and didn't have enough for IE and had to rush to a fight so QQ. Soraka was awful and always out of position but because she was AP soraka even when she derped and got focused she would just heal through the focus fire while our triple carries wrecked them

I thought HAVING soraka on your team was a "counter" for karthus, not sticking her mid as well?

Basically, the dude picks soraka, says "im soraka mid to counter karthus," everyone is like "uhhh..... k?" Then he feeds and almost loses us the game, good thing support ashe is OP, dat volley harass is no joke

Common misconception. She doesn't actually do that much apart from countering his ult at early levels. As soon as he's got some
AP he'll just out damage her ult by too much. In mid, though, she can push pretty hard, heal up his harass, and silence out his ult.

I was forced into a similar situation. I completely agree about the passive. Being able to stand in a bush and let her crit stack up makes harassing hilarious. I'm curious what skills you prioritized. I think I took Q over everything for the utility slow. That's great for the lane phase, but in retrospect the lack of a leveled W in mid game team fights further crippled my already under farmed build.

I did standard skill build, max volley seemed best for better harass and to actually contribute to early dragon fights where 0 item ashe is surprisingly strong with lvl 4/5 volley

Yeah I was so confused I just bought dumb items. I thought I needed wriggles to stay alive but basically lane mumu shut me down both in game and in brain.

Games after I did much better. And yes I enjoyed 1v2ing two full health enemies. Ghostblade is great (when I remember to activate it).

Ghostblade is actually kind of shit for the stats you get off of it, they're a spastic mess. Brutalizer is great though.

The problem is that the AD folks that really want AD + CDR + Arpen tend not to be the folks who benefit much from crit or AS. Xin may be one of the few workable cases for ghostblade, but even then it's a compromise item. For straight AD+AS+Arpen you're better off with a cleaver, for AS + crit you're better off with phantom dancer, both of which cost roughly the same. For straight up Arpen Last Whisper beats it. The only thing Ghostblade has going for it is CDR.

Darius is able to teleportpull enemies into his shop if you get the timing down. Lots of pentas have commenced. I saw a youtube clip yesterday where he just at level 1 5pulled a ganking enemy team from behind a corner in the jungle near blue... you just see those sorry buggers flying through the air like a catapult directly into the enemy shop. And yes, this was not split second timing, it was actually very easy apparently.

I'd swear any champ with a pull can do this, they just all require the split-second timing bit to avoid some amusing and yet lethal fail (hi, 5 guys, this was not supposed to happen... And by 5 guys I mean one)

Also, that picture, remarkably accurate on most champs, made me think, triforce on kindashitplank top, never thought it was viable, is it? (After atmogs or fratmogs is done anyway)
