Gp is bad champ at the moment. He outharass morg but she can still farm with W so that's just bad idea, and his teamfight powers are not existing. Yorick is good and some top laners will win vs her hard as well, riven just shits on her so does jarvan or jax. But as far as mid ap champs are concerned people really should realize that Morde / Ori / Anivia / Karthus / Malph / Vlad / Swain wins or outfarm her mid anyway easily. Morgana is not op. Not even close, people just ban her cause she is annoying.

Karthus I can see but I can't really play him well at all.

Cassiopeia, Mordekaiser, Swain, Talon are considered the high primary picks. http://smartp1ck.com/info?id=25 Has more reasoning.

Talon's especially nasty, he can't be stopped by her shield due to full physical damage.

Ahri's also scary, been on both sides of that, Ahri has the ability to dodge Morgana's shit and break the shield np.

I've given up playing any AP mid except Morde, all other Mids are now obsolete.

Turns out Twitch jungle doesn't work too well versus a morde that can kill it in one combo and turn the fight into a 6v4

Apparently he is a popular ban in higher elos at the moment? But for some reason hes never banned in lower elos? So strong its crazy, you have to play with a clue on your head but I've managed to beat Ahri's/Cass'/Ryze's and apparently they are supposed to be counters to him?

Ahri/Cass yes, Ryze, questionable. Ryze has to get close, and getting close to a non-braindead Mordekaiser is a dumb idea.

He used to be permaban status in S1 ranked below 1200, when his shield wasn't so nerfed and getting Morde practically gave you a win.

Morde is so amazing with the dfg changes and the support junglers letting you take their wraiths and even wolves and stealing enemy wraiths all day. Get like 200 cs by 20m and then 1 combo anyone

Ryze gets in range of Morde's E but thats it, but ryze can blow his entire load on mordes face, and with rune prison morde can't get in range to use Q/W. I wanted to avoid hitting all the minions with E and pushing at the earlier levels because we all know morde has zero ways of escaping jungle ganks :3

Thing about morde is, if the enemy jungler doesn't shit on you, you win 90-odd percent of lanes, and then beast mode lategame. If he does, you'll either be good, or feed them and your lane opponent. So if you're a good morde, why not play him all day?

Zero escape, melee with short range abilites and unless he pushes he loses his lane. Morde is basically a free kill in any lane.

if he's mid he can basically grab every creep, back off do wolves, and repeat. He's actually rather hard to deal with, mids a short jog back to tower.

Top he dies, but that's why you see him mid more than often nowadays.

Yeh edna is right, he can't clear properly until he has levels and still has to walk right up to the wave to do it. He has no stun and no escape, he isn't a safe mid in any way.

Any decent jungle champion can successfully gank him before lvl 4 and again before 6. He's strong only if you leave him alone and free kills otherwise.

A safe mid is Morg who can basically clear the wave from her tower and is immune to disables.

Won a game earlier where both my bot lane were 0 6, my mid wasn't doing too well either and my solo top was really hard countered (He was malph versus Vlad).

Not complaining because we won anyway I just wanted to tell someone




(my team was Malph, urgot, soraka, cass + I was udyr, Urgot ulti into Malph ult into Cass ult into soraka ult into Udyr smashing faces in)
