Kat as a pub stomper is very dependent on your normal elo. Once it's above a certain level she just can't stomp at all, whereas everyone else named still can. Like I'd say below an equivalent to aroundabout 1000 elo she's an absolute nightmare but above that people start having stuns and positional skills as a rule.

So much this. And honestly, Kat has one of the more binary passives in the game. Either she's shitting damage while people die left and right, or she's impotent waiting for BB to come off CD.

Playing her at a basic level in a pub is faceroll simple. Playing her effectively game after game is quite hard. But you can stomp with her reasonably easily, she's still the hardest snowballer in the game. She's one of my most fun champs for the sheer variety of ways you can kill dudes/kite dudes/clutch escape.

Speaking of pub stomper champs; anyone care to compile a decent list? Would be nice to roll with them in case you have a 'asshole friends not on rage' moment and still want to play.

Those're the most prominent that come to mind. Morg/Kass being the best because soloqueue just have NO FUCKING IDEA how to deal with either and that just lets you do whatever the fuck you please.

Can you elaborate on how best to play Kassadin? I like his unique kit but his W always felt a bit useless to me. Do you prioritize CDR or AP on him? Do you "stack" his R before you gank or do you just jump right in and R-Q-E?

Play fairly passively until 6. Q harass is pretty easy risk-free damage, and you can Q-W if they get close for a ton of damage. Use Q and W to lasthit if you need to, he's not the best at pushing lanes. Once your 6, you just R-Q-W and float away. Stacking R will burn your mana out - the damage bump is nice, but you don't have the time or mana to just be teleporting back and forth before engaging into a fight. His W hits really hard, and its spell-absorption limitation is only relevant in the early laning phase - its up all the time midgame and onwards. Prioritize AP - I don't believe he gets much use out of CDR (though he might like Athenes grail for :trollface: R kill hopping).

In other news, bought Jayce, he is actually a ton of fun to play. I have no idea what I'm doing with him, but his kit is at least highly amusing to play.

s/W/E/ there. W is his aa boost, E is the force pulse. The main reason to cast W on Kassadin is to add another stack to E so you can recast it faster.

Played a game yesterday as jungle AP nunu, killed Panth, but he had GA, so stood on his corpse and popped my ult, he revived and then took 2K damage.
