Literally never lost to a Fizz as Lux crew checking in. His blink can be interrupted, this is the key to beating him as Lux. He blinks on you, grats he tanks a binding to the face. You should never be in range for him to pole. He might be able to zone you out if he plays very well but he won't beat you.

annie beats him because if he poles her Q with stun, the Q goes on cooldown but the stun doesnt get consumed. so she can then just stun with W if he comes at her, or drop tib and kill him

Yes, edna know his Annie. She got strong auto attack harass as well and can boss him harder then most mids at lvl 1/2/3. He doesn't beat morgana in sence that she will die in lane. Morgana maxing W/E will never die to anyone in lane but she will get outcsed hard and he is going to roam the map. Most missconception about Morgana is that she is a best pusher around which is not true at all. This is why both karthus and tf counter her mid. Both can outfarm and outpresence her. Fizz outfarm her and roam harder. He is a winning matchups against all most popular and most picked ap champs, most of them being considered op. he never loses his lategame power as to being able to assassinate enemy carry. While maxing E which you should pretty much always do as Fizz unless you stomp your enemy in lane your pushing power is retardly strong. He is very strong, very underrated and very hard to play. I suck at him, most of players suck at him, but that doesn't mean he is under avarage.

I've only got 300 elo to go...It could happen?
Most common advice i hear is: pick one champ, play him lots, go into ranked and ask nicely if you can play him every time. Preferably not support/ad in case theres a premade. Dont worry too much about hardcounters unless youre going for something that absolutely NEEDS to be countered, like Kass or Malph.
Eventually youll arrive at your "true" elo (and crash+burn once you try to branch out :P )
I might try that with TF, have quite a way to go though, since ive just started playing him again.
I've heard that TF and Ahri are permaban at 1700 elo NA, but I've no idea how true it is, so you may be onto something there. Tell you the truth, I just can't get behind AP TF. Played him far too long as AD.
