I've had a lot of success against him as Swain, Mordekaiser. Annie should be able to tear him a new one, basically anybody bursty enough (or in Morde's/Swain's case, able to outsustain) should be able to win against him.Originally Posted by TroN
Fizz is often considered to be a counterpick too.
LeBlanc will eat him alive if you can get enough farm.
Irelia rapes him
Healing reduction carries if your teamcomp can take having them in that lane, also.
In other news, anyone tried ap carry mid, ad carry+tanky support bot, and ad carry + tanky support top?
Any opinions on why it wouldn't work (barring toplane not being able to get kills against the solo/shut down his farm and requiring someone to roam a bit if the enemy botlane pushes?

Quite simply, you go from four sources of gold to three. Especially since top lane champs tend to be good at passively farming under a tower when pressured (ie you can't shut down top totally).
Because the team with a jungler is going to get every single dragon, have complete buff control and an insanely farmed jungler from being able to farm two jungles full. You'd basically be gambling that you're going to shut down their top HARDER than their jungler's going to farm up and hope the global gold doesn't give them that big an advantage.

The most brutal ive been shut down ever was trying to lane vs Garen AND Yorik. Couldnt touch them, or even go near any greenery. They got my tower at around 10:00(?) and proceeded to rape the rest of the map.Quite simply, you go from four sources of gold to three. Having extra jungle farm is nice and all, as long as your top lane can, you know, actually farm.
It is a super risky pubstomp tactic though, that should only be reserved for normals when you feel like trolling.

Irelia beats any AP top, she max's her true damage asap, once she's around level 7 her true damage hurts and she will probably have some magic res by then so she can just out harrass anyone. People act like vlad can poke quite hard but until he has some cooldown reduction and is level 9, his Q isn't actually that strong.Can you elaborate? I don't see how. Irelia can just leap on him and out damage him or force him to pool, which in turn rapes his own health while she can just wonder off and repeat the process again while vlad's pool is off cooldown.
I would explain in more depth but I never play Irelia, all I know is that everytime I've seen vlad vs irelia, irelia won every time
What Fuzzi said. If you can make a vlad pool it's a win for you - that pool rapes his health, and Irelia really HURTS early game, especially as he'll be trying to poke/sustain her to death. You just go up and fight him, he can't really do shit until level 9.

Confirming Swain shits on Vlad hard. His E+Q just too strong to and passive guarantees he has mana for it.
Why Ez is the funniest trollcarry in game:
Kill midlane while hes taking blue.
Kill toplane under his tower from botlane.
Too gud. Also, Ez + Ali is a mean killmachine.

Ez is awesome. Probably my favourite champ.
