For reference, a no-elo penalty with a half-hour tempban from playing is much nicer for me.

I'm not good enough to carry teams, so just taking that troll game on the chance the other guys have a troll too is better than losing elo for my rating. Being able to spend half an hour in tanks or whatever while I wait is far far preferable.

Unless penalty time for joining ANY queue after ranked dodge is like 24 hours.

See that I can agree with, if they make the dodge timer something absurd and make it so that if you dodge ranked you cannot join the other queues.

And then someones decides to take a trollpick and ruins your game cause you can't dodge.

Tris is a hyper carry, I'm surprised she's not used more often.

IMO it's cause she's not as easy to use as Ashe, Graves or Caitlyn so you don't see her picked anywhere near as often. Tristana, imo, has an early game comparable to Vayne's in terms of suck. Especially since you're constantly pushing the lane even if you're lasthitting only.

Lolwrong. Trist has a super strong early game, it's her midgame that sucks. W is a lot of burst and some nice CC to boot, you don't have to take E. What hurts Trist is that none of her spells scale with AD, so in midgame you don't have the items to be really scary rightclick wise and you can't use W agressively in a teamfight.

Seconding Trist early game is beastly. E is 110 dmg at lvl1, and fucks them up if they are chugging a pot. The pushing isnt that bad imo, since Trist + pretty much any support except Soraka is a scary kill lane. Between approx. lvl8 and 12 she falls off a bit due to the lack of scaling ratios. At 12 her autoattack range overtakes Caits' and its godmode from there on out.
