Why are people going on about the infeasability of Triforce? Especially for champions with low cooldown abilities there is no other item like it. It's a super strong all-rounder that gives you everything you need in moderate quantities.

Lee is the hard counter.
Talon is also a counter, given he can blink AND silence at the same time, add damage magnifier (for himself), add bleed to track Akali and has comparable burst damage. If he gets the drop, it's likely gg for the Akali.
anything with a good AOE attack and a hard stun is good for bossing akali around, brand comes to mind for this.

per example Wukong with ghostblade/BFS = more AS, more AD, more MS, similar crit, CDR, more overall damage and the ability to get lifesteal or crazy crit damage with a BT or IE.
Objectively people overfocus on Trinity + Atmogs, which requires a huge amount of gold to obtain and leaves you open to being raped by AP. Trinity is rarely seen on high level elo tournies on bruisers because they're left playing catchup to get tank items to allow them to surivive diving in.
Take Jax, prob the best champ for trinity because he uses everything a lot, and gets a passive hp boost off the ap/ad to make it a good hp item for him. You never see top players get it because it's not as useful as the lifesteal/spellvamp components of the gunblade, which also has a slow, then if you get it after you die in every team fight because you don't have the armour/health to survive the damage you will face.
I'd heard brand, but the idea sounds suicidal to me. At least in my mind, if you couldn't just drop her, she's shroud and then finish you off
Talon or Lee Sin both thump Akali.
Lee Sin can see her in her bubble, Talon just doesn't give a fuck about the stealth
I've played brand vs akali, providing you're quick (ie use smartcast) its possible to get full e>q>w combo off whenever she's visible. If it all lands (which is a bit of guesswork/prediction), she'll be on low hp and risks dying to ulti/ignite if she engages again or doesn't run away. Dunno how it goes lategame though, because the game didn't get that far.
Lee Sin is the hard counter though. Picked Lee in a blind pick normal yesterday, ended up solo laning against Akali. Said Akali ragequit at 10min, 0-3.

just thinking about it, Garen is another counter, silence and she cloaks you spin to win.
Cassio is another sort of counter, she can do more damage than akali, just, and you can throw W into the shroud and she either has to move or sit taking poison damage.

Sounds like I need to expand my roster really then. Cheers guys. What'd you think about kennen as counter pick for her as well? I've been kinda meaning to buy him for months since he was last on free week, but someone else always seems to take priority over the him.
imo Kennen is way too reliant on nailing his stuns in order to do anything. Plus if he doesn't get the first 1-2 stun(s) off, he's probably well and truly fucked.
Played Graves in some Domi last night and he is awesome. Was bottom laning and after a few items he is mental.

Basically anyone with a stun and AOE burst damage is a counter for Akali.
I'm not a girl, and I don't know what a "Mendolorian" is.. I think it might be a self healing car that travels through time.
Blitzcrank is a nice middlefinger for Akali players, once you figure out that you can grab them right out of their shroud. Also, Ulti.

A good kennen will rape akali, beaten akali as kennen many of times. Just no contest, if she wants cs she has to eat q's. Chain stun and harrass all day.
