Since im moving to canada soon decided id level up my NA account but apparently NA servers don't like me and queues are completely fucked. Had 10 minutes sitting in normal queue for nothing joined bots queue in sheer desperation and same again. I also keep getting told champion select is imminent when i try to leave queue.....fucking cocktease.

bought poppy, smurfing time
got graves but had just one match with him (which was 15/5/11 but still a loss due to a) ignoring kog solopush a lane and b) team ignoring their kog (which got a penta this way) but their team focusing me in 2 critical teamfights). wow. doesn't feel omgwtfbbq! to me, but really strong. his ult is a bit tricky to use but i think it's a matter of practice.

Yes, had that happen earlier in fact. Actually didn't let me into queue for about 5 seconds because I didn't wait for stats.

Okay, Shen, from the deals thread.
A clarifier - Shen was the first tank I learnt to play, my go-to pick for the first half of season one, one of my favourite champs.
The issue with Shen has always been that his kit is very basic - none of it is exactly standout the way Jarvan dash is. That's fine, because he had the ult. Riot have a long history of over-nerfing people because they have a strong ult - just look at Pantheon before the reworks, absolute trash champ. So Shen ult used to be 350 health shield at level 1, and his passive used to scale off total health. That was fine, that gave him a way to scale in damage without building for it (like Rammus curl) and remain more than a taunt+ult bot lategame. Then they did two things (well, three). One, they nerfed the ult to a 200 damage shield at rank one. That's one AP caster's nuke, less if they have AP runes. Two, they changed the passive from total health, to bonus health. Stacking health is not viable at the moment, most of the strongest picks (Brand, Vayne, Kog'Maw) are designed to counter it. Three, his AP ratios got trashed, meaning even AP Shen is not viable.
I love Shen - I love the design of the champion. But you can never think that he's viable.
