If you wanted to nerf Talon, that damn sure ain't how. You attack his damage, not his HP/mana regen. Talon is played passive until you hit 6, then it's GG. Assuming you don't get a kill or two during the 1-5 stretch.

By the sound of it he has 3 aoe skills including ult, the only other ranged AD i can think of that has that much is corki. Maybe not original or something people feel they need, but certainly not overrepresented.

That story about 1 shotting Vayne and Kennen isn't BS either, I did have over 600 on my Q at that point and Kat nearly died to the first hit, and would of done if I had of crit her. Kennen ate a crit as did Vayne, and Vayne was in my Spirit fire so had some extra armour reduction. so P lucky but point still stands.

well i was at +612 at this point (maybe 40 minutes into game). (assuming you refer only to the "blue" (farmed) number) must have been bad luck (no crit) then i needed two. but tbh it really doesn't matter. you are at what? 2-3sec cd.. so yeah. q, hit, autoattack, q, probably dead. anyway playing nasus every now and then, but this twoshot, kog's "wtf?" and doing it again later was just epic to me.

i usually really go philo (the regen is so good) for quite some time now. then basic boots (usually enough for quite some time because i really try just to zen style farm q), then the kindlegem and glacial shroud (this one first when facing harassing ad). this gives you a good protection, and you can oneshot q each minion with some farm on q. what's just hard for me is to know which minion you can kill with q earlygame and which not - lack of practice i think. especially when you just finished a game with farmed q. game is usually over with tier2 boots + philo + frozen heart + trinity force + force of nature + kindlegem (sometimes upgraded into shurelya's reverie)

played my first ranked game with Brand last night.. of course, this was also my first non custom game with him at all : pro:. Was laned against Kennen which I'd remembered from a video guide could be a bit of a ball ache because landing my skill shots would be a bugger on someone that can just blitz away on a whim.

Anyway, I battered him and went 3/0/6 really early on. Unfortunately that's when things when tits up and their team decided that Mendo shouldn't be allowed to have fun, ergo their WW and Irelia anally raping me every single team fight. Que 8 deaths in about 47 seconds. I was even pretty tanky, with a Rylai's and 2 Doran's Ring.

Twas nice though, our team didn't go "ZOMG BAD BRAND LOL DERP UNINSTALL", which was quite refreshing.

Lessons learned

1. get a fucking Veil
2. stay out of team fights until enemies are nicely obsessed with the rest of my team
3. kite better

The issue I always have with brand is mentally switching from dealing with single target (E>Q>W, if they're not dead R) to trying to do as much aoe damage in teamfights (Q>E>W>R, ignite someone). I tend to get stuck in the single target mindset and try to pick a target out in teamfights, which often leads to my death. And yes, get a Veil - I've said this before but the reason I like Catalyst over dual Doran's ring is it provides the base for Banshee's, which can be built quickly if you need it, instead of having to start from scratch at 30mins when you realise everyone is focusing you down.

Graves, believe it or not, is the First ranged AD they've released since Vayne... yeah, they're totally releasing tons of ranged AD... never mind that we've had 2 mages and 6 fucking melee champs since Vayne to lead up to him... 4 fucking months of melee champs basically...

You're right on that, I confused the current meta with relying on dominant AD with champ release. Let's correct that to AD, shall we? Ranged AD stuck with me because Cait and Vayne are so strong that they massively overshadow champs like Leona, Skarner or Riven. I would like to see all my BAWWWWWW posts though granted I really don't post in here very much.

Personally, I welcome any buffs to aggressive play styles, fed up of these boring 20 minute farm fests, much more fun making it so that people have to actively be aggressive otherwise lose their lane.

On top of the fact that skarner is pretty shit anyways and there is ton of better options to take, same with Riven. I just feel riven doesn't really do anything, in higher elo she might be good but where I am, its just consistent bads when she is played

Now the next problem(s) is(are):

If I'm playing Ashe and I get a good early farm I'm fucking A and ruining shit all over the place. If I don't get a good start I'm completely fucked. What the hell do you do if the lane you're against is keeping you from getting all farmed? Playing more passive lets you live longer but stunts your farm and playing more aggressive just seems to get you dead.

How do you lane melee against ranged? Maybe I'm completely missing something but it seems like a game you simply can't win. You're completely at their mercy and anything you do to try and put the pressure on gets you dead or they fall back to their tower where their game is just worlds better than yours.

Also, lol at how in every single game there's some dickhead doing worse than me talking shit all day; m8, if you spent less time typing and more time right clicking you wouldn't even have any complaining to do.

Isn't much you can do except ask for ganks, in lower levels its painful but as you get higher people get slightly less bad, on the most part

They are acronyms for things, SS/Mia/Miss/blinks in their lane on the map means that someone isn't in their lane anymore, sometimes people say "ss champion name" so you know who is wondering around and CV is the summoner spell clairvoyance which reveals an area of the map, available at level 10, don't know what level you are so :P

Urgh "not much you can do" isn't what I wanted to hear. I knew that dotalikes were much, much better in organised premades but I just didn't want to accept it.

SS being the same as mia or miss is cool. I can deal with that. Don't know why I hear cv, because I couldn't remember my account name so I had to make a new one and I'm only like level 5. Maybe it's 'coz Ashes E is sort of a clairvoyance I dunno. Surely people who are down with that are at higher levels where that skill even exists?
