In that case I strongly recommend testing it out for yourself (I've been doing so for the last month).
This. Aren't you guys supposed to be, you know, testing..

Well I did use them, but I thought "This is goddamn lame" and went back to trying to do something with ballistics. It's pretty hard, what with a variable delay on every shot from the server.

I'm not really sure what the point of abusing a bug in the code is once it's been established it exists...And don't give me any of that "abuse it to bring it to the developer's attention" business, it's already a known thing.

I think you're confusing "testing" with "playing", common mistake.

Obviously I'm not in the beta, and you are a much better beta tester than everyone else that's in, but I would postulate that if it's well known then I hope you are not "testing" a long known bug that's listed in the known issues or has a fix announced for the next patch already... Because people that do that in betas are not testing, they are playing.

If I subscribed to the GLaDOS definition of testing you might make sense. The bug has been discovered, move on and find another. Use other things, get ideas on how they might be improved.

Except apparently not, since half the stuff people say about it is wrong.

Today, if all the news were correct, MWO is moving to the production environment.

There's a post on the MWO subreddit about Elite Founders being able to change their mech choice now, but the main website is down (again) so I can't look at the news article. Cached copy is blocked by my work (but not the live...).

I remember reading about open beta around the 20th? Maybe it was another wave of closed beta invites trying to find it.
