I'm not sure I'm understanding the issue properly tbh.
It's F2P so just....don't spend money.
I do not think the product/service in question (Operation Inception) is worth the amount of money required for purchase. This is an opinion I have formed having taken part in beta testing. I will of course exercise my right to not purchase, I am merely giving the reasons for said non-purchase.
Ah, right. Sorry, thought the issue was the game as a whole, rather than the Inception pack alone.
Fair enough.
Is there any indication how much damage each type of weapon will do?

If you thought the WoT packages cost...
Edit: Email more informative than web page, but sent in form of picture.
Founder's mechs earn 25% more C-bills/match, premium starts at the kick-off of open beta and gets 50% more XP and C-Bills/match (suggests to me no progress wiping at close of beta/launch of game). Buy a package and get into the beta August 7th.
Edit 2: The tags shown in the email are incorrect, the ones on the web page are the things being awarded. Already found a forum-goer with a gold one.
Edit 3: And their web page is getting hammered.

Any stats/reviews on those Founders mechs? Curious as to if it's worth it or not
That didn't take long.
Edit:
The only one I've driven personally is the Catapult C1, which is the 4x medium laser 2x LRM 15 variant, with twin jump jets. Comes with 4x missile and 4x energy mounts total. I quite enjoy it, although I have a thing for Catapults. I've not driven any of the Jenner or Hunchback variants, and the Atlas I drove was another version. Quite capable, but different. The variants are being shaken up with today's patch, so I've no idea what changes are being made.

And now Reddit is down too. What am I supposed to do at work now, work?
$60 spent.
What the hall, it's hardly anything.
Thinking 60 bucks founder right now. But srsly, my premium will already run in the open-beta? And then I get wipped? Any more infos on this because this sounds just stupid.
Also for the beta guys: Does it make sense to get the Atlas to be "higher tier"? Basically thinking to take the biggest one to get more money out of it. Like getting a Löwe instead of a Churchill in WoT terms. If it does not matter at all I would tend towards Jenner or Hunchback.

Not quite. For one there's no tiering in matches, Jenners are right there with Atlases. Supposedly the devs intend to do what Wargaming has failed and make lights viable for scouting and info warfare and such. I can see this as being possible should they put in the effort. Right now they're still capable in fights. If you're a good pilot you can outmaneuver slower mechs and at least partially offset your fragility. I've seen a competent Jenner draw off 2-3 heavies from the main battle, firing lasers the whole time. Much harder than slugging it out with an Assault, though.
Edit: Also, repair expenses are supposedly a % of the purchase cost, so the lighter you are the cheaper the vehicle is to operate.
Cool. Will go with the Hunchback in that case. AC20 should be enough to bring the pain, not the biggest mech on the field to not draw all the fire all the time and lower repair cost.
I am a sucker for mediums anyway.![]()
