Grarr is right, Some AD Reds make a big difference for early clear time on Trundle.

I can't remember my exact set up but I think I have about +8 AD, 12 Ar Pen (All you need for jungling), AR Yellows and MR/lvl blues.

I use the same for Lee and Riven as well, both champs scale really well off AD.

Edit: Stonewall just posted a good Trundle full game if you are interested http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0LqWS5ceFo

So far I have bought ww, xin, olaf and fiddle to jungle with. Right now I'm struggling a little bit with fiddle but its pretty fun to play. My question is who the fuck do I buy next? Everyone else that looks like fun to jungle is either 4800 or 6300. I was thinking trundle or more t3 runes.
I'm sure it's frustrating to be sperging about how someone said "no, not doing that yet" - but we've had 7 years to learn to pace ourselves after killing a block. And I dare say -- we've gotten quite good at it.

Sorry if it doesn't suit the armchair generals who have never committed to anything for more than 2 months, but by now we've learned that we really don't give a shit about what you think v0v.

Get the runes then the champs. You should definitely get Nocturne at some point after. Yi is also an awesome jungler, provided your team breathes through their nose.

Nocturne, Udyr, Trundle are pretty solid picks, and Jarvan is an amazing level 2 ganker.

your lack of Lee Sin mention makes me cry

Lee sin is easily the best level 2 ganker, no question.

Don't really like jarvan jungle personally, I just don't think he brings enough compared to the other junglers

I've had a dislike for assassin like heros so I pretty much forgot about Yi. Saw he was only like 450 IP so I played him a few games jungling and its really fun. His Q is letting me practice my smart casting which I'm just starting to learn.

The main thing to remember about Yi is he's a 450 IP Tryndamere, a 35 minute ticking time bomb. He does have an easier time getting up the farm and a huge ASPD/AD steroid. His jungle clear times can be better than most, provided some RNG luck.

Pick your targets, keep an eye out for ganks. Takes a lot of practice but with said practice and knowledge, you can utterly decimate a team.

J4 has since his inception been constantly under rated as one of the best junglers this game has ever had.

Pre nerf he had fast safe clear times, amazing lvl2 gank, and he also had one of the if not the best lategames out of the jungle.

post nerf he's a bit less safe at the start, but still packs a lvl2 gank which at the very least is on par with Lee Sins, although I'd say it was actually better. If you hit your skill shot with J4 they die.

Lee Sin I like, but honestly his late game has never impressed me. He just seems to stop doing damage in the late game. I've noticed he's been dropped from bans in big games quite often and hasn't been picked as much.

Err what lee sins have you been playing with? Atmogs is all I really buy for damage and its still stupidly strong, just leap onto the enemy ad carry and watch them squirm, and on top of that you have a 4 second attack speed slow as well, throw in a kick which can send that ad carry into your team means extra lols. Or you can use kick to save your ad carry, on top of that Lee Sin has a shield which can be self casted and/or on an ally, Jarvans is only self cast.

Seriously, lee sin is just better then Jarvan, admittely jarvan in the right hands is still good but I see no reason to pick Jarvan over Lee Sin in any case as Lee Sins damage output should be equal to/better then Jarvans from experience, on top of the fact that Lee Sins spells all scale on ad pretty much

    OK so

    trynd:

    1. attackspeed reds, armor pen quints, armor yellow, choice blue (I use MR)
    2. 22/8/0 masteries (summoner spell spec, AD, minion damage, attackspeed, armor pen, crit, crit dmg, lifesteal, armor pen)/(armor, minion armor, HP regen)/0
    3. surge(!) and flash
    4. cloth + 5 pots
    5. QEEWER

get a leash on blue. When it starts hitting you, hit Surge and kick its ass. Clear the rest of the jungle from there. If you do it right you should be able to kill red and b with some HP to spare.

With wriggles and surge you can then solo dragon. With wriggles, surge, i-edge and a charged bloodthirster you can solo baron comfortably (!)

im not sure its a good idea to surge in teamfights but it's great for pushing and much more useful than a smite lategame imo

How many times now have you tested that?

Also 15/1/14 for Yi I've found is working. Tried it out after the patch, fucking dropped people. Even gets the XP mastery in there, although I'm debating removing that cause of Riot buffing jungle creeps to account for the old XP mastery placement. What could I replace it with?

twice. once in practice, once in real game.

worked great. i wouldn't try it on someone who's not an AD jungler though. maybe yi could do it.

Yi I would personally also go 22/8/0 on, although variations are fine since yi is so strong at clearing creeps already. lifesteal is great tho.

I'm just kinda used to J4 being underated tbh, and a quick look at Lee Sins skill sets pins the problem at a lack of armour pen in any Lee Sin build I ever face. J4 late game scales better imo due to passive + armour shread. Math fu follows up the arguement with J4 just bursting harder.

The other thing I've been noticing is the big teams starting to shy away from Lee Sin in both picks or bans. So it's clearly not just me.

the reason junglers take smite is to make sure they get dragon and baron, not to have a super fast jungle. no serious jungler will/should ever take surge over smite, period.

really? I was under the impression I was taking smite because it was completely impossible to kill some camps from L1 without it

No, you take Smite for Buff control and jungle speed

This is why people yell at you if you don't take Smite on WW.

Sure WW can jungle without smite, but he can't control buffs and he's slow.

Taking surge might reduce speed but it's not going to give you control, stick to putting surge on Jax while pretending to QQ that this patch somehow nerfed him.
