No premium. So that'd be nice 800 exp defeat. Encounter, we are south. Entered forest and kept shooting at stuff. Was left with very little hp. We have maybe 4-5 tanks left they've got 3-4, one of them is T110 very close to me, hull down to me. If I move into open I'll die. Their remaining heavies cap while we have 3 tanks at near full hp sitting at hoses near spawn till end. Our top tank, 48% Amx50B. Yes he stayed on spawn till they capped for win.

Going forest on Encounter Murovanka is never a great idea. I suppose it could pay off if you are trying to bum rush arty/TDs, but that's a gamble and usually a suicide mission. I always fight from the town or the hill. South should probably try to fight from the hill mainly.

So Encounter. Every time a team goes for the cap, they lose. Every time a team stands up and fights the enemy head-on, they win. You have an eternity to kill the few defenders and get across the map to reset the cappers. How do pubbies not make this equation? I've never seen a team that tried to go for the cap win on this mode. So fucking stupid, because when you're on a team where half of it goes for the middle of the map and the cap, you are guaranteed to lose. Seriously, you can't do anything. Because the enemies now have like 5 minutes to clear you up and then win.
I just missed out on a 4k win because my team threw it away at the end...YouTube coming soon. Managed to kill both a Ferdi and GW Panther in TD mode.Defeat

Three artillery per team. Theirs kill seven of our guys. Ours kill one of theirs. We also had a Panther who acted like a scout without killing any of the four or five guys he spotted, including all three of their artillery, which our own artillery subsequently failed to CB. I ended up having to re-scout them and kill them all.
This awful match lasted over 14 minutes.

Just had a game where I was facing off against an Object, T-150, T-50-2, AND T34....meanwhile my team on the other flank consisting of a T34, Lorraine, VK3601H, and JP IV managed to derp themselves into 2 enemy arty...JUST 2 arty!!! THE REST OF THEIR TEAM WAS FACING ME!!!

Shot up a T-54 and Pershing, then when pershing started to push on me around a corner, I tried to back up....but friendly Type 59 kept pushing on my ass...I ended up eating 4 shells and caught on fire before friendly T110 dispatched the Pershing. Type 59 then went around me (hurrrr he couldn't do that earlier?!?) and went to face hug the enemy JT...he died. I used his distraction to pop 4 shells into the JT though, then as I was reloading, I noticed I was the only one left in the city. The friendly T110 and E-75 went back to base...apparently our retard valley push smothered out and died.
So naturally, a T32 comes to face me in the city, and I pop 2 shells into him before I die to him (I was only at 230hp at the time). T32 was left at 400hp...and went straight for our base, popping shells into the rear of our T110 and E-75 the whole way. Did our tanks turn around to finish him off? NOPE! They went to base where there was a T20 in our backyard. E-75 gets the bright idea to go full on broadside and lets the T20 pop 3 shells into his side. E-75 meanwhile misses his shots. ALL OF THEM. T110 charges at the T20, and the T20 decides to run away back into the valley. T110 rounds the corner...and he runs into a T95 and M40/43....he dies.
E-75 now tries to go over the little cliff overlooking the valley...then realizes that he can't and takes an M40/43 shell to his undercarriage. He backs up, and takes 2 more hits in his rear and side from the T32 who was now at our base shooting him. Does he turn around to kill the T32 who is 1-shotable? LOL NOPE! He ignores him, and dies in the next hit....
I can't play my French tanks solo. It doesn't have the armor to hold a line, and that's what I need to do when I play solo. E-75 and other heavy armor tanks are perfect for that. AMX not so much.
Even though I never got my double in on the AMX 50 120...I think after several successive losses where I did what I could, I will call it good. Several losses are equal to a win...right? Right?
You can pretty much tell how that game went...My side killed 4 enemy tanks. Total.
Enemy Ferdinand and T25/2 were in their spawn and were executed. Enemy T34 near me was concentrated on by arty and killed, and enemy SU-8 was CB'ed. All of which were on my side of the map. The north and center broke like a cheap recycled condom.
P.S. That's our AMX 50 100 in the back, "defending the arty."

Arty is the worst on encounter maps. In the course of a single standard game it can be pretty hard to tell the good artillery players from the bad, but on encounters the bad ones really reveal themselves. Set up in the worst possible place with no avenue of escape, miss every shot on top of that, and then sit still and die when enemies are spotted near them. Add up to four or five mediums/heavies who stick around to "protect" them in these terrible setup positions while the rest of the team dies to superior enemy numbers.
