Welcome back to EVE and failheap. Shitposting is generally reserved for oldtimers making posts about some neckbeards bored-at-work etchasketch drawing of spaceships, quackbotting, +1'ing, spamming senseless anime-captions in response tp equally senseless posts, spouting about this or that self-induced drama (preferably about goons, CCP or both) and/or whinging about latest patch/use of booster alts/ecm/whatever else shat all over the postee in the past few loss mails.
Thx for watching the vid. There aren't too many good ones out there these days, but I'd check out Nanamais 'Lil Devils' and Redrectors 'Interception II' for some nice frig hull action.
Just watched this, fun video. I'm curious, how did you get the much more detailed damage notifications to pop up? Also is the information-on-target display (The data that follows the bracket around on-screen) post-processing or did I miss something in one of the past updates?

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those Thukkers, that way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody.

There is no Such Thing as overkill only varying degrees of efficiency.
It was a web tool allowing you to specify color and format of gamelog messages by editing one of the associated html-files (or whatever that shit is called). It spawned some controversy with people on EVE-O arguing it was 3rd party modification of game files, but in the end CCP did not deem it so. Even still, the creators behind the tool withdrew it and a later patch restored the modded file to its normal shitty self...
I think that in it, CCP (maybe rightly so) saw the potential for custom modified clients giving people unfair advantage over other player (as in more than a larger font with better colors), and decided to close the book on it preemptively...
You can change it within the XML file eve uni has a tutorial on it I'm sure
Not a tutorial as such

You sicken me
Yeah... The tool I referred to was a web site where you entered your specifications and the XML (not html lol) file is altered accordingly. Site went down shortly after I released this vid.
My altered file reverted back to normal with one of the past year's patches, though - so I'm excited to hear if anyone has made it work since. That said, as much as I liked it for solo work, it was a fckin nightmare in fleet fights with the entire battlefield looking like the back page of a fckin Dan Brown paperback, and I didn't have the comp savy to locate the file and restore it to normal once I changed it. Not sure I'd reinstall it again tbh...
