Next two games I get stuck with some shitty 4 stacks who drafted useless teams and lost in under 30 minutes each. I'm going to be placed in shit tier and have to crawl my way out. Zzz Maybe I'll switch to all pick and counter pick.

It takes your existing rating and works of that. While the influence of the first few matches is a bit higher it is not deciding on your position at all. Synderen went something like 2-8 and ended up with 5.2k, Dendi played 6-4 and had 6kish.
First few days you could check the console after the first game to see your score and I had like 3.6k. After that I had a 16 game loss streak so I ended up on 3.2k.
