Just checked the online ticket shop, sold out. Unless Sacul can arrange something, we won't get tickets.

It was worth mentioning. I am not into football either but went to a Benfica Lisboa game when I traveled to Lisbon last year. That was pretty interesting so I thought might as well check Rotterdam.

So i have a hobby job city guide tour at friday 26 of may. I can extend that to people who want to attend after my pro job. Just for inner city or Rotterdam. Will be easy for me as the pro tour is just 3 hours long.

Let me know if there are any of you want that that date (i can guide Joe along on saturday).
My fee will be in free beers (normally a city tour is 35 to 41 euro per person).

So I'll be in Dutchistan from the 23rd to the 30th.

Would appreciate any guidance on things to do, places to stay, ways to get around, etc., other than the time of the meet itself.

    For Amsterdam:
There are so many hotels i can not suggest a single one, would advice to google a 'art hotel' to make it less of a boring standard one, they have very nice lounges and non standard rooms. Of course a bit of a surcharge but not to much. Same goes for Rotterdam.
For just going around make a tour on foot from Central train station to Leideseplein, Vondelpark/Sarpathipark and that means you will go by Museumplein, It is the major museum area in NL. iirc 4 museums and just google it, all the websites have a english link. Do book a time-slot in advance because of crowd management.

    Rotterdam:
It is my town! So far you and Joe wanted a city tour from me and i am happy to do that, will be fun. Most people who will attend will stay at Hotel/Motel one, also a new art hotel smack in city centre, details in og post.

    Leiden:
Very nice old Natural history museum worth visiting, aagain google it. Old city, lovely walks in old city centre.

    In general:
A lot of NL is a tourist trap cuz of so many Asian tourist however if you are new there are a few nice things like visiting the flower fields at Keuken hof in Lisse or Madurodam, the tiny size replica of NL in the Hague.
We are a smoll country so it does not take a day trip to visit most things. Hence i said Amsterdam 4 museum in 1 day, it aint the Paris Louvre.

If i think of more stuff i will let you know but the above will fill 3 days ez.

    Welcome to Holland

    p.s.
No you can not stay at my place and no you can not play with my kets

Rooftopwalk starts at 26 may. Tour on top of some iconic buildings showcasing what the city wants to do with future buildings, green eco- etc. I will def go one of these days to see.
At a pub close to my house there is a beer festival 26 and 27th till 23:00. Rotterdam has a few good microbrew's and they will be hosting that event.

First is smack in city central, second is just a 5 minutes walk from centre or 10 minutes from hotelmotel one. There are a few ADM things in the city also that weekend.

So ehm, Joe let me know about this and I'd completely missed it. Overspark and me would like to rock up. Where do we meet? (And where is this vaunted FHC discord?)
