    Inspired by 100MN tengu's, its the 10mn trasher :P
    254 (292 heat) DPS. 8k EHP.
    Moves 1689 (2366) m/s cap stable.
    Tracking is a non-issue especially with the 125s. Can even use Hail S and still outtrack rifters (lol).

    If you don't like spending a few mil on the faction AB (dunno how much they go for tbh, Fed Navy 10mn ab has same fitting if that one is cheaper), you can downgrade to T2 and use a 3% implant, or down 3 guns to 125's and MSE to best named.

    E: AC fit above has more dps & speed but is more vulnerable to neuts & when fighting in scram range you can lose your MWD ability (and propless dessie = brick).

    Why does your comedy fit have a 30m faction ab instead of a 9k isk Y-S8 with the same fitting?
    Oversized ab will not work with shortrange weapons and scram. You wont be able to stay in scram range and you definitely wont be able to stay close enough to a rifter to shoot hail at it (Which you shouldn't. Not even with bonused 125s).
    If you want to be able to dictate range on a scramming frigate then fit a normal size ab and preferably a web.

    Speaking of webs, this thrasher is nasty when you're expecting a standard MSE fit

    Last I heard they were only a couple of mil, but yeah named fits too.
    Also I'm not sure how the oversized AB makes it somehow harder to keep inside scram range than say, the MWD of first fit? If anything it should be easier to keep in range of the target if he also has scram + AB (like every single Dramiel ever, just to name an example).
    And I'm not suggesting that you shoot Hail at rifters, just saying the tracking with the penalty of Hail is still better than 200s on a rifter.

    Oversized afterburners add huge mass to the ship. Sticking both on some thrasher fit, with my skills I get:
    - 4.4s align with no speed mod
    - 5.8s align with 1MN MWD
    - 18.5s align with a Y-S8 afterburner

    By frigate/dessie standards, a Thrasher with 10MN speed mod only moves in straight lines.

    ever tried this with a tracking disrupter or a sensor damp with range type scripts instead of the web to force targets to come closer?

    ok teh fit i posted was like 99% same as two other fits in the thread already B(

    the fit above really should have 2 rigs, has lots of space to fit them and they are dirt cheap anyway. add two ambit rigs to the setup above and you get almost 3km more falloff.

    eft puts me at 377 with 7.3kehp 1.8km/s all of these numbers are before heat.

    Its almost the same post at the OP but with cheaper rigs and abandoning the neut. Imo majority of frigate fights are too short for the neut to make a difference. (especially with 400+ dps). I've wanted neuts once versus a vengeance. On the other hand I've wanted more dps in practically every fight. +20dps is fairly big versus frigates.

    Necroing/bumping this thread for one of my new favorite ships.

    Does shitton of dps, has very nice buffer, and fabulous dps projection even with hail. Regenerating buffer is a win for what I do with it(pwn the shit out of tier 3 BCs, destroyers, and frigs in M-O atm)

    Also, p. cheap.

    I like this variant the most, 250's track well enough so they can hit even close orbiting frigs if you manually turn your ship in their orbiting direction. Also, utilizes bonuses better than with AC's, optimal range totally goes to waste with 0.5 km range on AC's. Over 250 DPS at 9+11 and 6k buffer without damage control.
