No denials from me; that's what I started as. Also gives you dual Uchigatanas pretty early in the game, and they are solid. I used those until I got my hands on Rivers of Blood, which is quite late in the game.

The Bank of Japan runs it's fiscal year from April 1st to March 31st at least. PC Gamer recently did an article, measuring the time from the From Softwares games were released, until a DLC was announced and then how long till the DLC was released. There are some hope there, but it could also be Miyazaki being Miyazaki.

I've started a fresh playthrough after speed/wiki running the last few. Trying to go blind, without a shield.

exploring, not wiki'ing. even after 500+ hours last year, I swear i'm finding new and cool places this playthrough, never seen before.

Going blind is best. I never really felt that games were a race or something to beat first. Elden Ring is packed with things to explore and I even deleted my first save file after 80 hours with careful note taking to just allow myself to be truly lost in the experience. It's so much better than working off a checklist, your own or one from a guide online.

Similar to my approach to eve online. Do it your own way and enjoy the experience.

Yepp. It's astonishing what one misses in a one play through.
