What the hell is up with these "carbine conversion kits" anyway? People are adding a bunch of stuff to Glocks and then calling it a carbine now. Wouldn't this be more like an SMG conversion anyway since it's using pistol rounds?

They add functionality (optics, more stability, more accuracy, more mounting points etc)
They are relatively cheap now
You don't have to have a full size (and retarded expensive) SMG to get 30+ round capacity (Glock 18 mags in G17/G19/G26)
