I know that Quarky took official leave, so he's excused for the next 4 months, but the whole rest of you haven't posted a single picture in more than 2 weeks.

Steak
Bought from M&S, 21 day aged, mix of cuts. Aged for two further days in the fridge with kitchen paper, then lightly salted/peppered and thrown on the grill.
Melt in the mouth good.
Käsespätzle, clearly more than some noodles with cheese. A forecast:

Probably looks uglier than it tastes. It's awesome as long as you're not on a diet.

In a bit of a stretch of the thread idea I gonna post a few pics of stuff I had recently.
Since I relocated for my studies my food looks... well lets not talk about it. Crappy kitchen and not much time is my excuse.
But I managed to get some extra kitchen time in may... and may is awesome. You have asparagus, strawberries, rhubarb and morels (hard to get). Like every decent Kraut I went mad with asparagus.
Pork, potatoes, asparagus

Strawberry cheesecake (I fail at cutting)
Fail Panna Cotta (thats why its still in the glass) with pistachio brittle and strawberries

Quarkys food is amazing as always. I think white asparagus is a german thing though because that shit tastes foul. Green asparagus however om nom nom nom.
I live and work in a small town, a town in one of the few countries where I have been where I am not enthusiastic about the food available. The markets here are deppressing and don't carry a vast variety. Or even a reasonable variety. The meat is often chopped on cracked wooden boards that are never cleaned, at most a splash of water. Despite this I often cook for myself, try to experiment and to this end this thread gives me joy. Its one of the reasons I started reading FHC again after a hiatus. We can't all be like quarky but c'mon guys. I need this thread to update with food pictures.
I may start posting pictures of the depressing range available to me just to keep the thread alive.
