    Crusader

    So far i've tried;

    [Crusader, Sader-Active]
    Damage Control II
    Centii C-Type Small Armor Repairer
    Centii C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating
    Overdrive Injector System II

    Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
    Warp Scrambler II

Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S

    Small Energy Collision Accelerator II
    Small Energy Locus Coordinator I

    DPS 155/178
    Active omni 53/68
    Speed 1615/2103

    (all un-implanted)

and it was an awful amount of fun. not particularly fast, doesn't piss out insane DPS but it latchs onto something and holds on like a pro

what other fits are useful? I looked into nano-long pointy stuff but it seems a Slicer is better suited for that

    I came up with and flew this;
    Code:
    [Crusader, Standard]
    Internal Force Field Array I
    Small Armor Repairer II
    Adaptive Nano Plating II
    Heat Sink II

    Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
    Warp Scrambler II

Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S

    Small Energy Burst Aerator II
    Small Energy Locus Coordinator I
Works great, dps is 230 after heat and implants, and 183 with scorch.
The range is just about the same as running DLPs with the only major difference being teh falloff (lollasers)

    [Crusader, Gunner]
    Damage Control II
    Heat Sink II
    Small Armor Repairer II
    Adaptive Nano Plating II

    1MN Afterburner II
    Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I

Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S
Gatling Pulse Laser II, Imperial Navy Multifrequency S

    Small Energy Burst Aerator I
    Small Energy Collision Accelerator I

Is how I fit my Crusader. Cap only lasts 50s, but I've never had a problem in the average frigate fight due to the DPS it puts out - nearly 220 with Multifrequency (overheated) and 174 with Scorch (overheated) with no implants. Able to fight any Interceptor out there and will beat nearly any Taranis out there as well (only one I've had a problem with is AB/Web/Scramble Blasteranis which are fairly rare).

    Re: Crusader

I figured i'll train laz0rz so i can fly a decent ceptor solo (IMO plated claw is sub-par - also expensive because :minmatar

After looking at some killboards this seems to be the contemporary 0.0 roamer fit:

    [Crusader, Crusader]
    Pseudoelectron Containment Field I
    Overdrive Injector System II
    Overdrive Injector System II
    Heat Sink II

    Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
    Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I

Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S

    Small Energy Collision Accelerator I
    Small Energy Burst Aerator I

    157/181 dps w/scorch, 5000m/s

That fit is simply terrible, there's no point for the Overdrives with the MWD since the speed boost once you're scrambled is pretty minimal compared to the tank you could gain from a Small Repairer and/or an Adaptive Plating.

    [Crusader, semi-pimp]
    Internal Force Field Array I
    Centii C-Type Small Armor Repairer
    Heat Sink II
    Overdrive Injector System II

    Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I

Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S
Dual Light Pulse Laser II, Scorch S

    Small Energy Burst Aerator II
    Small Ancillary Current Router I

176 dps w/ heat and 6.7k/s with heat and a zor's. It's a wee expensive with the dcu, so I figured may as well go for the better rep (coreli fits, is a few mil less but technically doesn't rep as much). You can go for an adaptive plating as previously posted, but I don't think the additional beefiness it provides is as useful as the extra speed the overdrive provides. You need the expensive dcu to get dual light's in (cpu is 125/125).

    yes.. we know

side note: half of amarr frig setups have such bad cpu issues where this isn't an option

Same range, more dps, better tracking, better buffer/tank.
