When they came to that part before the Red Wedding it was pretty well taken that Robb was following his dick especially considering he hadn't been with a woman before. He was acting irrationally, etc. etc. The tits=guys acting badly theme that is followed throughout the books a lot. And afterwards we will never see her again the useless twat. I can't even remember if they mentioned her full name in the books.

We could have spent more time in Qarth or more time in the preparation shenanigans. Focus on the chain and fire that's coming. Maybe even more on Snow or the significance of the package they found.

The events in the tent between Robb and Jeyne (ok thats not her name in the tv show...) have a pretty massive impact on the storyline, there was nothing wasteful about it. Disappointed about side-boob though, she was hot.

I watched again and realized that scene definitely had to be fleshed out and they emphasized about his Frey marriage and the bridge crossing, so yeah it was needed. I love side boob as much as the next guy, but definitely could have used much more tit scenery.

honestly, i wouldn't be surprised if they left the chain out completely and just focused on the wildfire

I really hope not. It was the masterstroke that gave them certain victory. Without the chain at least part of Stannis's fleet would have managed to escape. Without naval side being a rout maybe "lol Renly's ghost" trick wouldn't have worked, or wouldn't have worked as well as it did.

It's kind of hard to depict ships moving back with the current into a chain in a decent amount of time anyway.
