I keep making the horrible rookie mistake of trying to solo within like 3 jumps of blues. both of my best recent attempts at getting a solo kill ended up with fucking blue falcons on them that just happened to try to whore the mail. The second one, where i tackled a cynabal in my HAM drake, not only somehow endd up with a falcon on it, but a bomber that was already on grid decloaked and started firing.... and did a grand total of 15% damage for the whole effing fight, and worse still, some other fucking bomber showed up and just HAPPENED to get the volley that took him through structure and got the final blow.
I added the words rookie mistake to make it look like a legit post, but really I'm just mad at idiots for making me look like a falcon using noob.
I tried to be cool and all I got was a lousy warning about my sig being too big.

Just lost a xl asb cyclone to a blaster14 inch penis by acidentally overepping shields.
The booster was auto repeating and I didn't notice straight away. That has happened every time I've tried the ancil shield booster irritatingly.
to compound the miserable failure I burned my guns out trying to claw back the wasted shield cycles.
Turn off auto repeat?

Having fought an xlasb cyclone in an xlasb blaster 14 inch penis recently I can assure you it would have killed you anyway.
Also yesterday while flying a single rep zealot I got webbed by a rapier. It was badfit and melted like butter but I stupidly forgot to turn my mwd off once he caught me and took faceraping damage from his friend in a talos and by the time I realised it was too late

Happened a while back, me having (not anymore) an scouting overview with everyone in it, fleet mates, corp mates and so on. Also it was late, was chasing some frigate around, i land in a belt see flashy red frig in belt 2 km away from me and another one 200km out -> i kill the one next to me -> pod it -> proceed to feel smug -> read in corp cheat: "what the fu*k W0lf Crendraven just killed and podded me" -> .................... .
I end up paying his frigate and his new implant set.
(One a side note the other frigate pilot (who actually was a target) convoed me asking what happened, i replied that it was tusker corp policy that if you can catch another tusker unaware you may proceed to kill and pod him, get reply, "wow you tuskers are hardcore" )
Great way to get to know a corp you just joined!!

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those Thukkers, that way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody.
It's actually worse than forgetting tbh, its because i'm a tard.
i turned it off earlier but double checked before the fight. I wasn't concentrating and just saw the word 'on' in the context menu and hit it again. Obviously what i was looking at was the 'turn autorepeat on' option.

Was sitting on a HS WH holding just my jump cloak when a Loki landed. I figured he'd be a nice pew pew, but I didn't have the DPS needed so bugged a corp mate to get over here, he was enroute anyway, the highsec was for him. I didn't want to spook him so I held cloak. Behind him landed his entire gang and a bubble went up. I shit myself basically, and started burning straight out after they decloaked me. Burned out my MWD and invuln, then my AB trying to get away, never managed to. After loosing the Loki I realized I had an interdiction nullifier fitted and could have just warped as soon as they bubbled.
I hope you were polarised or why didn't you just jump into HS? :P
I was polarized, had just BM'd the other side.
