I'd have to say when used correctly The Panther II is better than the Pershing. However, the Pershing is a much more all-around tank, and is far more adaptable than the P2. If they Panther II is out of it's element, it's going to die, period. The Pershing still has a reasonably good chance.

Not really. The Pershing, to me, has no 'niche" it shines in, it's just a very good tank, consistently. The Panther II is fucking excellent, if played correctly, but if you are in a situation where you can't play it like you should, or have derped, it has almost 0 chance of living. I'm saying the Pershing is more adaptable. The Panther II has higher peaks and lower valleys of performance, where the Pershing is a more consistent line.

Also, I REALLY want to know the value for track-repair time on the M103. I know I only have 2 crew with repair (at 90%), but I've literally sat for more than 2 minutes without it repairing, without having been "re-tracked". It often takes at least 30-40 seconds which seems a bit silly.

SO much this. Although I'd say Panther II > Pershing > T-44 mostly because I destroy any T-44 in my Pershing/Panther II.

I think the thing with German tanks is, if you can do them right they will beat just about anything. If you do them wrong they will punish you until you kill yourself.

But I do agree with Qui Shon's Tier 7 line up.

T20 > T-43 > Panther.

I like both the p2 & pershing but when pressed will pick the pershing as it seems to do slightly better for me. Difference in pen is hardly noticable and accuracy on the move & gun depression win it for me. P2 is a bit too bulky, tall and lacks shell eating tracks. I do enjoy playing both.

P2 came practically elited, Pershing didn't. I'd say they are pretty close in preformance. (For me.)

~56.5% wins in mine. I played it again recently with great success for the +50% credit weekend on NA, and I also own the E-50 (sold the P2). I would call my style of play with it more of flank and spank rather than fag and snipe.

I can't help but feel physics is going to be more rage inducing than awesome tbh. I think the average mouth breathing player on the server is going to be ramming shit and getting stuck meaning public games are gonna be hell. Perhaps they need to stage it into cw and companies first.

Pretty much.

Panther II has the better gun, but the Pershing has the better gun depression. And since I find myself fighting on hills and playing hull down games whenever I can, I tend to prefer the Pershing over the Panther II. Incidentally, this is why I also hate the French tanks. No gun depression yo.
