AMX 13 F3 AM. Worst piece of shit arty ever ever. Aimtime of 5 years and the slightest nudge makes aiming go WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP.
My heart bleeds for you mate. El haluf encounter, sneak past enemy lines and spot their arty (all3) kill the frenchy have high transversal vs obj 212 +80m distance, he traverses to aim and fire and ofcourse hits BOOM gone is my patton. ARGHRHRH. So nice when you do everything right but the other guy instakills you because he gets lucky with the RNG. Ofcourse, game after both arties aim and kill me going full speed in half cover dodging wildly at 1minute in on Steppes. 1st hit tracks and sets on fire with splash, second hit finishes. yay.
Why did they buff large caliber HE again?

Well, I'm getting a T92. So expect it to be nerfed to shit in a month or two.
Over 1/3rd of the way there. Dear lord, why does it take 326k XP to get that thing. Thank god the M40/M43 is worth driving, otherwise this would be unbearable...
serious question, is there really any point to the T95 anymore now that the T30 is a TD & they both get the same 155mm top gun? I suppose the T95 has that crazy frontal armor, it just seems to me that between the fact that you can walk faster then it drives & the ease of flanking it make the T30 the superior choice.

Well, the gun has ~11% greater DPM, 2.6% more accuracy, and ~14% faster aiming on the T95.
But really no. Only practical reason I can think of to get one would be to get the tier 10, although it remains to be seen if that one offers anything the turreted tier 10 doesn't.
I just miss-clicked and bought a tool box. Fuuuuuuu! The rage on TS was bad; was about to buy a T20 and now much money grinding needs to be done. That, and it's likely they'll be on half price special this weekend
They quickly learn that capping is not what the game is about.[SOME OF THEM, which is better than the former NONE of them/Art of War = Terrain advantages] Pure, unadulterated arty defense or arty raiding in most of my games now.
They even beg for arty support when they reach the base of a hill.
I don't really see how this is a change for the better. Noobs that used to rush flag, still rush the flag, but they can't do it on assault without backup now. If arty doesn't prevent them from getting killed (save their asses), it's still arty's fault. On the defensive side of the coin, the professional campers (the guys who would never leave spawn until death on Malinovka) become very vocal when you are on the defense, because that means you can't move at all if you want to win. It's retarded. While I appreciate having all this variety now, they really should have designed a handful of original maps for each of the new modes before introducing them. If given the option (in 7.5 patch), I'll probably go back to standard battles because assault is too unpredictable (some maps you are fucked on O and some fuck you when on D), and encounter is easily lost because every cap hungry team you get on doesn't realize it takes half the game to secure the flag because of balancing changes they don't understand.
The improvement is, I'm not explaining height and flanking to my team, alone, anymore. THIS IS MASSIVE.
And then I got a crapton of standard battles, mass suicides. I'm gonna start pretending I'm chick, that needs help on a hill, ffs...

It's worse than the Hummel. I didn't believe that was possible, as my Hummel was recorded not hitting a bush with an M7 Priest inside of it 3x in a row...reticule was the size of the bush...
AVG direct dmg is 250.[max roll 1024 on ass of a KT, Soviet bias factors here as my big 400dmg rolls are only on Germans...]
Aimtime is almost M40-ish.[retarded]
Speed is decent.[M41, Hummel faster]
Traverse is same as Hummel but offset[for corner fighting??]
Camo is great, Bat flanked past at 300m [Soviet camo better]
Accuracy is SHITE at range as the shell seems SLOWER/MORE DISOBEDIENT than others. But in TD mode kills T-50-2s just fine[TD'd 3 attackers in a row, trollarty]
REFUSES to hit stationary tanks! Lost several Assaults because of this, and my team noticed...
400XP per WIN, Prem, this is a grind.

I have some bad news for you...
Spoiler:
as of 7.4, the T92's direct hit lowroll can be reduced from 640ish to 500. The 1m splash can now roll a 256dmg to an AMX1375, stationary...
Since 7.3, it has failed to pen the rear/sides of every French tank struck for more than 850...4x personally, I witnessed these successful strikes.
Apparently I cannot pen 30mm of Batchat in the ass and 1 shot it...but my OBJ212 can...also snapshots tanks at 60kph at 100m.
Since 7.3, my 2 successful TRIPLE-kill splashes have resulted in the 3rd victim receiving only a critical dmg, whether he was closer or farther than the impact point. This includes 1 gold round in CW...300HP AMX50B lived but his more safe companion at 450HP did not... -_- And then there was that 2nd one on Swamps, still mad.
Double kills behave normally 70% of the time. But the other times, the shell hits the farther, weaker tank, instead of nuking the 800HP target, so he gets splashed instead. Lucky my ass. That's kill capping by rng.
Scoping for 15s is also not fun. Esp., when you miss for a whopping 400 splash on a parked T10...
Splashing around rocks and blind kills are your only joys. You cannot aim down at 60m And the top half of the reticule is how you shoot in TD mode. Well above most tanks, except oversized Germans.
GO RUSSIAN ARTY OBJ 261 splashed a T110 for 1300, raw...
I have a Toolbox on about 70%-80% of my tanks, at all times. 75% Repair avg + Toolbox is how you live, and learn, in this passive-aggressive, Soviet, rng hellscape called a game about Tanks.
Plus it is an omni-fitting mod, and demounts for free...so use one or three for all your tank grinding. Don't leave home without it.

I just had someone in a game try and recruit me to his clan
>him "ctrlchris"
>me "mate"
>him "do you want to join my clan"
>me "noep"
>him "why not"
>me "I have a clan mate"
>him "yeah but they are bad"
Apparently I'm good at tanks
Who knew
Hahaha. I just had a recruiter from NDP send a recruitment message my way on the WoT forums. Either they are spamming it to everyone, or I have garnered their attention.
Either way, I'm in a clan already and rarely am able to get on early enough for UC, much less Company Battles. I guess being a member of the SA Forums is not a requirement anymore.
@ Daco Cutter: I have a few ISU-152 replays, but they are from 7.1 and 7.2. I have a version of the 7.1 client installed, and watched the 7.1 battle (good enough where I saved it). And tbh, I didn't do anything special, so here is what happened:
Map: Ensk.
Tank: ISU-152 in a tier 10 battle, they have IS-7 and a smattering of tier 8-9's.
Spawn: South
I decide to go to the 1 line and cover the long alleyway up north. I get there, and see an IS-7 doing a barrel roll straight down the alleyway. Pop 1 shell into him. He dives into cover...where another friendly ISU-152 is waiting for him. He takes additional shells as he backs out into the alleyway again. I pop a shell into him and finish him off. While he was trying to escape that hellhole of his, I saw an enemy Lowe, IS-4, Tiger H, and Ferdinand at the far north end of the alleyway. Popped a shell into the IS-4, and he backs off. Take 2 blind shots at the enemy Ferdinand. First hits, 2nd misses. He then comes out again, and I finish him off. Enemy lowe comes back out into the alley, and pop another shell into him. He is low % now and goes back into the alleyway between north and south. I decide to make a push and come up on the lowe around the corner. He plants a shell into me, and I return the favor in kind. He dies. Enemy IS-4 has his ass to me, and is at low %. I aim, and he dies. Friendly ISU-152 finished him off before I could shoot. Proceed north to enemy base where the last enemy Type 59's are trying to brawl out a heavy tank. I land a shot into the side of a Type, and the heavy finishes him off. Last Type tries to circle me from behind a building, but I am prepared. He stops and backs up. We are now playing chicken. Problem? A friendly KV-3 is at his side and he is completely exposed. KV-3 lands his shot killing the last enemy tank. Ended game with 3 kills. Shot 9 times, landed 7, and took 1 hit.
BL-10 is an awesome gun, and I have no idea why lusulpher insists on using HE ammo with that. Why would you want to track a light tank when you can kill it outright? Or arty? BL-10 does enough damage to kill all of those outright in 1 hit. HE would only damage them and track them at best. w/e works though. I went pure AP ammo. These days, I might go with 2 HE or so, but purely for anti-T95 or hulldown American tanks.
The gun isn't the most accurate and will frustrate you to no end when you try to snipe with it. However, like the DERP gun, when it hits...it hits hard.
The tank is fragile and will not bounce anything. The only part of the tank that actually has any armor is the mantlet. And any halfway decent player will avoid shooting that when you present your front face to them. So hiding and sniping is the way I tried to play my ISU-152. Failing that, I'd play it as support/ambush.

NDP is having internal issues (unexpected with Goons, I know). Their commander, ChairInABasket, has been missing for over a month (now ChairInACasket), nobody knows how to contact him. At least one of their deputies is gone as well. That and they're having lots of trouble on the eastern border. I can understand wanting to get someone with stats as far on the right of the bell curve as yours are, especially if you've a presence on the official forums for them to see.
