Definitely the engine, god knows it needs it. The turret doesn't help much with anything, but it is damn sexy.

I cant remember how much more HP you get from the engine but it does feel very agile and quick with it.
Although the turret gives a nice view range boost (I think) /bouncy for that hulldown business / more hit points

Engine is really nice, but top turret is +HP, more bouncy, and also increases view range. Can't lose, both options help a lot.

funny enought stock turret is far better protected then upgraded one that is why they had to nerf its reload time long ago becuase nobody was using top turret,mantlet on stock is brutaly good

Is there any trick to the Lee, or is it just an all around crappy in every way tank?
Even the way it thinks it has a normal turret instead of working like a TD is like a giant "fuck you" to the people who have to endure driving it :/
the Lee is a god awful tank.
you need to play it like a TD. except you are too tall to hide, your armour is paper thin and you will constantly be in battles where you are outclassed. The pain is worth it though because the tanks behind it in the tech tree are good.
when I had to do it, I found that sitting back and engaging targets of opportunity helped alot, or I would go with the thundering herd and try to pick stuff off while staying at the back of the pack and shamelessly using my team mates as cover.
rammer and camo helps a bit but not much because once you are spotted, you are pretty much dead - nothing bounces off you
love the T-50 and it's play style. just got a T-34 but meh. i'm maxing out the T-50 before anything else. only been playing a couple weeks so i'm still learning scouting techniques and routes and sneaking behind enemy lines.
LagKills on NA server if anyone wants to train me or join up for T-50 luls.

Engine first. The whole point of that tank is to sprint between covers and peeking up using that nice gun depression. The turret is great though, the view range and extra hp goes a long way to make up for it's butteresque hull.
It's a bit frustrating to drive at times though. Since it never bounces anything it always gets primaried over all other tier 8 and 9 meds. Ofc, that's how you know you've been bad and put yourself in a position that you shouldn't be in. My winstreak is now over.
