Haha what hilarious trolling, I'm rolling on the floor, no seriously, never before I have beheld similar wit.

While speaking about trolling: Me in a T-43 on Abbey taking the small middle city. After some shooting to the sides I move to the nothern end and begin to light up targets for the arti in their base. One of my best matches with the tank so far, why do so many hate it? Last tank standing in the base is an AFK Loewe. I get off three shots, then he starts moving backwards. While I am quite far away from him he slowly starts pointing his gun towards me. I stay in the open, shooting, since he is also moving. He fires, I die, ammoracked with one shot from the hip. Great success...
Going to stop playing my Patton solo for now. Just not worth the hassle, and I'm not sure I enjoy such high-powered games. Maybe it'll be a bit easier once I get the 105mm on it and some time to play with friends.

Seems that way, when I've driven alongside and gone up against 105-armed Pattons their firepower is impressive.
I think what I'll do is keep the Patton for now as a primary but only play it with friends, and accumulate free XP on my Marder II to put towards the 105mm.

Patton is WoT's equivalent of the Vagabond tbh. Mobile, packs a punch, but dies if flown incorrectly. Patton, bestton.
Auto ban doesn't care who you shoot or why. It just measures how much damage you do to team mates and compares it to how much you've done to enemies. If it passes a certain threshold, you get booted at the end of the match and banned for X days. If you're smart, and rack up a lot of hits on the enemy, you can pretty much straight up team kill someone without getting banned. You may still turn blue, though. Lusulpher posted a formula in one of these threads, but it was a long time ago, may not still be accurate, and I'll be damned if I can be bothered to search though his posts.
Scouts generally inflict very little damage on the enemy, so if you decide to team kill with one, you're probably going to get slapped with a ban. A good strategy is to team kill with top tier heavies because they do the lion's share of damage and have more HP than their other team mates.
It's pretty much designed so that once you have a tier 10 tank, it's virtually impossible for them to ban you.
I had a match a while back where 1 person was ramming my ass the entire time, so I popped him. Naturally, other people thought I was a TKer so they started to shoot me too. I killed them all. Didn't turn blue or anything. We lost the match of course, since at that point we were down 4 tanks and I was hurt.
I remember asking on TS3 about the formula and when I turn blue and such. Sure enough, in garage I was blue. Joined another match, and I was normal again...lol?
