That quote about E50 someone has in sig. If you are in platoon (so you can have at least one not full retard in team) its true. That tank is uberdeathmachine of death. Solo you risk getting isolated and deaded, in platoon with any other T9 med you will burn a swath trough enemy team in vast majority of cases.

So yeah, there is incentive to grind German mediums.

It's a coin toss for me really. Most of the tanks I have are snipers, and the Panthers / E-50 just continue that tradition. On the other hand I really don't want to grind over 90,000 xp in the T20. And Panther is my favorite Axis tank of the war. Plus VK 3002 can also give me access to the Tiger / E-75 line, which might be fun.

So I guess the question is, are there any conditions/setups in which one can brawl successfully with tier 6-9 German mediums on the VK 3001 / Panther line?

I really like the T20 myself, I have temporarily stopped grinding it to grind the E75 but I will go back to it.

I was enjoying the German Mediums but I don't know lost interest in them, the panther is fun and I think it is a great tank but it is missing the nice damage the T20 can do in those brawling situations you quite often find yourself in even though you are a sniper and want to keep at range.

People dislike a tank with T32 hull angles, E75 mantlet/cupola bounce, Hetzer rotation, Pershing gun depression[SECOND TURRET]and acceleration, the accuracy of a KT and the wallop of a mule kick to the fucking chin.[ammoracked several IS4s when they angled their tread forward ]

I sold my E75 to pimp this cashbox/solo dominator out.

M103 has its flaws. Get hit in the turret you either get ammo racked or turret ring gets knocked out (ho ho, takes fucking forever to get turret rings repaired)
It also seems it has ammo in front side of hull. I have so many times lost my track and ammo rack.

It's a good tank, but I would never sell my E-75 for it.
(I just reached my 300th match on 103 and sold it for T110)

I used the M103 in multi v one tank combat daily...It can angle bounce just like a KT, it's still about timing when they slide off the side of your wedge. And the M103 has no rotation problem/acceleration with stock crew, so it can fight 2v 1 comfortably.

Yes, the ammorack is on the lefthand nose-hull area[feels that way] But I've never been ammoracked with any seriously angled tank, so I see no problem...I have never even owned a Wet Ammorack. And I certainly have never been ammoracked to the point where I would put on on even my French tanks.[omg turret racked!!]

Please tell me your M103 is elited...it's the different between playing an American IS-8 and an M103...the 2nd turret is quite magical. Wiggling 5 degrees to either side while hull down can mean the difference between a cheap-no-decalhole-but-WG-says-they-penned-your-MANTLET-with-AP-death and a Steel Wall.
Just ask the T11 and 2 IS4s who called in arty support after 2 mins of trying to remove me from middle of 1-line on Abbey...they could not go south and I was penning their IS4s' sides for 400dmg when I peeked...

Btw, the WG have yet to nerf the cupola for both the M103 and the T11...oiled soap tumours...I waggle mine as bait for T10 guns.
I can slam the IS3s cupola for 400dmg every 9secs at the same range he bounces off mine like a nincompoop. T11 can bounce BL10 shots to their lower glacis FROM BELOW AT 10M!!

E75 can also do 2 v 1 but that is it's limit, too much tread-tanking and not enough deception-tanking makes Johann a very dull boy. Also, M103 is much more nimble and gun depp is fucking OP for tracking high tiers on hilly areas so arty can drop them to killsteal range.

It seems like half to 2/3 of my shells do no damage, and shit bounces that shouldn't. Maybe it's the four weeks I took off from playing and I already forgot how unforgiving the RNG is.
