I love the IS-3. I haven't tested the IS-8 on the testserver. But it seems like it has less depression and less armor then the IS-3 wich seems odd for tier 9 :S

I played a game on it and it bounced about 6 shots and gave out good damage - kind of felt like a replacement IS-9 but maybe I was just very lucky

Nice gun, nice armor and nice mobility.
Not too sure about the IS-4 though, the gun seems to bounce a fair bit.

The IS 8 is a big piece of shit and not just because of its missing armor and no gun depression and the fact that you can play its supposed role (flanking? support?) only on a couple of maps due to shitty map design. No, its simply the fact that the AMX 50 120 outclasses it by a mile in everything. If you want a fast glascannon, tell me, why should i drive this junk when I can use frenchies for that role?
Also tell me why I didn't get the ST 1 as a substitute for IS 4 since I went for a heavy tank. I dont want to drive that fast shit, I want heavily armored tanks, this is why I skilled IS 4 in the first place. Now I have to grind again for ST 1 and cannot drive IS 4 because I cannot afford the running costs with standard account.
Fuck you Wargaming. I am so mad.
Lame. I push myself to the edge of madness unlocking the IS4's 130mm over the weekend. Patch day comes, & windows dies on my computer. Poetic irony I suppose. Went to the gym out of boredom, so not all bad.

It's kind of shitty how they didn't buff the IS-4 frontal armour at all. E-100s derping me in the front despite heavy angling are not fun.
