    Regarding XVM installed. I now have the health bars + floating damage numbers, but still have an ugly reticle and no load time indicator. Anyone got an idea how to get that? Me stupid in mod thingies.

    It has a count-down timer, ammo indicator (french autoloaders), and HP % indicator. And it's pretty clutter free so nice to look at.





    I use the bottom middle one myself, but it has many options you can choose from in-game.

    Finally installing tanks on W7. So mods should start working again. What is proper order of installing XVM and Aslan Icons? I also remember there is some driver/utility package you have to install before XVM but I can't remember what's it called.

    have to install something called Dokan. i had to do some fiddling to get the 3d icons to work. i installed them, then had to put xvm over that and make sure icon mirroring was set to false in the config file.

    my mods:
    Camera zoom mod
    XVM
    3d tank icons
    j1mb0's crosshair mod
    Demole's Damage Panel
    SpeedTree

    and a custom mod to make the T-50-2 57mm gun sound more beefy like the T-50's.

    I've used Jimbo's crosshairs for ages, I love them. Highly recommended.

    The only other mode I use is Zuamgua's Icon mod. Really clean and keeps the tank outlines which is something I like. Different colours for tank types (light, med, etc) and has dead simple tier numeral and tank name. Link: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.p...ontour-mod-75/

    i can't seem to get rid of the regular roman numeral tier indicators when using the 3D icons. they have their own way of displaying the tiers, so i don't need it and it overlaps and jumbles up long tank names like the french arty here.

    Dont use any mods atm... Only thing i have done is remove the smoke when firing.

    Fuck! I always forget about this. Which ones aren't working by just copying the files over to the 7.5 folder? I want to be prepared.

    I believe you can turn off tiers in the preferences somewhere.

    Nope. At least when I looked which was a few hours ago. I like the new maps, but have no idea how Serene coast is going to be played out yet. It seems like it's just 1 big front with little chance of side avenues and flanking positions that are typical of maps.

    Serene coast was fun the one time I could paly it yesterday. What the image doesn't give away, the western side (left/top of the country road) is a hilly ridge. You can dominate the vally (main road) from there. Down side (from a tanker's perspective): no real cover against arties. Which is a good thing, forcing those tanks up there to relocate.

    Yea, I liked the hills up there: great for peeking in and out and actually worked great with the shitty gun depression on the IS-3, which I didn't expect.
