Here are a few googled image for ya.
Zoom in is pretty much the same, maybe a little bit more, than normal.
I used to use it, but have recently got rid of it. I hated how it wouldn't keep my sniper mode the same and would constantly put me into full zoom in. This was a minor inconvenience most of the time, but downright terrible when brawling or in a city fight.
Doesn't hurt to try it out anyways. It's only like 1 file into your gui/flash folder. Delete it if you don't like it.
Edit: I still use the arty zoom out mod though, which is useful for counter-battery since I only have 1 monitor.

Apparently someone finally made a model replacement for the T-50 (maybe T-50-2 soon?).

Someone else used the skin for a Tetrach replacement and came up with these:
Spoiler:
downloaded XVM
got confused due to a combination of myself and :russia:
i'm just after the thing i used to have, which had floated numbers on hit. this efficiency stuff is a bit too much to comprehend whilst fighting.
also i'm trying to find the tank models which were coloured by type (green for lights, yellow for meds etc), does anyone have a handy link? the ones i had before were made by a russian guy, but i've no idea what his name was.
cheers.
For floatty hit numbers your looking for OTM (over target markers) not xvm
For the tank icons your talking about you'll have to go to the russian forums and look for andrey, its like andrey_hardicons or some shit like that, but just do a find for andrey and you should find it on the first few pages of the mods subdirectory. The ones your specifically refering to are the Type-1 icons. Install base, Lt_Green, MT_Red, TT_Base
So I've seen in a few of Dogbeast's vids when a tank gets hit it comes up with the damage done. Now I have it set to hit points so I can see how much damage is being done to them but his looked a little different for some reason. I think it had a bit of a white background to it or something.
Is that just a previous version of tanks or was the a mod to make it stand out more?
Or am i just nutts.
Which vids? The DeathsArrow vids? Or my Object 212 vid (only vid I have uploaded with OTM).
Spoiler:
DeathsArrow and I just use XVM or it's lite version. He just uses the OTM and I have the full mod. Only thing I do different is increase the damage text size from 12 to 24.
In video's like this:
Spoiler:
DeathsArrow is using a custom OTM. Not sure which it is, but you can probably find it on the Mods section of the WoT forums.
Theres a little program that comes with OTM that allows you to change all that shit like the font sizes, colors & backgrounds. IIRC it was how people were doing color blind support before WG actually supported it.
I seem to have lost my platoon icon! Using OTM without XVM, it worked initially (I did make sure that it was still checked as visible).
What do? (I could just reinstall it)
I need advice on a good arty sight; I'm going to try the arty zoom mod tonight but I'm just not loving the stock sight or the modded one I'm using (it has loads of info, but is not actually all that useful...)
XVM and 7.4, how do?
I don't have prejudice, I hate everyone equally.
Just like you did with 7.x
Download mod, extract it to your WOT root folder (it comes packaged so it goes to the right places). Either copy an old XVM config over or use one of the configs that comes with the mod (in the DOC folder or something, at wotk ATM, so can't look up my WoT folder).
Does OTM work with 7.4? Last i tried in 7.3 it wouldn't work, and i've been doing fine with the new OTM-like options wargaming implemented.
world of tanks derp gun world of tanks derp gun world of tanks derp gun
Tanks name = BS87
Every other game = Kegger McManus
It should. It's just basically a simpler version of XVM. You can always just download XVM-Lite, which is just OTM and doesn't use the stats from XVM.
While waiting for a camo special, I searched for a good skin for my Maus...and I think I have found my favorite skin thus far:

A warning about the arty zoom-out mod. Wargaming is purported to ban those using it if shown that they are. Tank one is kosher. Arty is not. So if you're using the arty one, don't send them replays or screenshots. Replays will show you using the two mods even if the machine the replay is being run on doesn't have it installed (since they're just different values in the game files, not new material).
