Confirmed, there will be no ingame squad support.
All squads will be handled via battlelogs (fucking buggy atm) party system. You will not be able to VOIP with anyone not in your squad.
What the fuck DICE?
This.
In it's current state, using battlelog for anything other than manual server searching is pretty much impossible, chat is laggy and unreliable, joining a party only seems to update when you sign in and out, joining a game as party is just as likely to stick you on 2 different servers as it is to join the right server, and even then you have a high chance of being in different squads or even opposing teams.
What.
Go complain on their wonderful Battlelog forums.
The forums were fine during the alpha some whiny faggots here and there but fine overall, but now........
I suppose that's what happens when you include the special type of retards that infests the console community on to your forums.
Although I'm personally not having problems with it I'm hoping battlelog get's the most love through October. I really like the concept it just needs a touch up. I'm hoping the fact that it's both a separate entity from the game and browser based makes it easier to tweak without fucking the entire client.
lot of utter fucking gash today
nobody goes for the mcoms
nobody revives
9/10 of everyone has a flashlight on, and my own team dazzles me more than the enemy
the no lifers who have been playing it 24/7 since it was released have unlocked all of the OP guns and dominate the entire round with bullshit headshots through solid objects
...
tried 3 servers, all the same shit
i hate this fucking game so much
I'm so glad unlocks is industry standard for multiplayer now.
On this note, last time I played I noticed many of the rocks around the first stage of Metro can be shot through. The most obvious culprit is the rocks just in front of the radar trailer at A, and the ones further down the same area with a tree that attackers usually use as cover.
A.k.a. oldmanbob
