So, according to my battlelog, I've played this game for more than 130 hours.
I've stopped doing cognitive decisions and started acting by instinct at some point in those hours. I ain't sure if this qualifies as a game for me anymore.
Not sure what to make of this. Playing the game has become a habit just like watching the news. Guess I'll have to sleep over it and reevaluate afterwards. I've gotten pretty okay at this stuff (I am still dieing a lot, though), but it isn't a game anymore. It's more like driving a car. Not sure what to make of this.

Haven't played in ages. Join noob server to get used to the game again. Half the people on the server are level 421692 and ninjas. Wonder what happened to the level cap option you used to see on BF2 servers.
It exists afaik, are you sure you didnt join the noob clan servers, which are obviously a clan rather than a level of play. That and given the level of play last night where our side had a 50% colonel advantage and they were literally all terrible - I swear they got their wings playing Metro Conquest - its probably just that you're bad atm, just keep going at it you'll get your eye in and but vaguly useful again soon enough.
you could generate this game's match results with a pair of dice and it would come out about the same.

I'll say what I've said time and again, if you're still ranting about pubs of a mega-selling game in 2012, you've either just started playing online FPS or you are plain dumb.
I imagine you're trolling with that comment, but if you're actually being serious - the only truly random element is the players but that is true for every public team based game. Even then you should take the view that all being equal you are the one that will make the difference for your team - and if you can't you should be supporting the people that can. But I imagine you just get into a huff and snipe while warbling on about how no one else is bothering so why should you.
