as soon as i unlocked everything for it, i stopped using it and am now starting to work through the M98
i found the l96 to be nice in terms of not needing to hold breath, but the animation while working the bolt is a tad bit obnoxious. also the whole low power optics bug.
any euros down for some co-op? i am terrible in every possible way.

I used to use the L96 for iron sights sniping, then i realized the M40A5 is almost identical and doesn't have that obnoxious animation (and tad easier sights, too). The irons on the SV98 are pretty nice too.

I just recently started to play as a recon (yes, I am a faggot).
Still pretty early in the unlocking stages (unlocked the Soflam yesterday). I am currently using the chinese thing (QBU ??) and am almost done unlocking the second assignment gun.
I am pretty terrible at this game in general, but I am even worse as a recon. For some reason I am basically unable to snipe anything. Most of my kills with the primary weapon are close quarter melee things.
@ Selb: I am interested in coop, too. Ingame name: GiDiYi. I, too, can't fly anything unless it is propelled by C4.

I've been playing a lot of pistols-only SDM with PL recently, so I'm finally exited for these smaller maps. Sadly I was already going to buy it for moar weapons.
Also the flag seemed to hint at a new king of the hill gamemode?

...I also got to check out the new game mode called Conquest Domination. It's like Conquest where you have to capture multiple points, but due to the tight nature of the maps you'll be capturing points within five to ten seconds once in the vicinity of the flag. The end goal is the same as regular Conquest, hold the three points longer than the other team while whittling down the enemy's tickets.
Can't wait for close quarters. Those who complain about claymores and camping spots, get a metro server with 16 up to 32 players and good fun fights will be had.

Turns out, that my problems seem to have been caused by a hardware issue, namely my mousepad. The mat was so worn down, that half of my commands got stuck somewhere. Bought a new mat yesterday. Suddenly, snipage!
Fuck doing anything that hasn't got "C4" in it in this game.
