No mod tools no care. Battlefield games might be ahead of the curve compared to most other shooters but the vanilla battlefield games absolutely pale in comparison to what the modders create.

I'm fully aware of how impossible it is to release mod tools for that engine, I'm just saying I really don't give a shit about the game if it won't have mods.
I don't see why being able to play Project Reality or whatever should take away from the experience of playing BF3 assuming it ends up being a great game.
Has any information come out regarding squads and commanders yet? I kind of hope there is a mix of BF2 only spawning on fixed bases with the PR firebases or 2142 spawn beacons. The ability to make squads and platoons in their social networking thing also sounds really interesting, it should make playing with friends and getting scrims really simple.
