Great in gangs with good coordination to wipe out large fleets of mindless drones. Warning if used in a laggy system can result in no killmails being generated (will still generate wrecks though).

You can swap the neuts for LRARs and plug a second injector in and you've got a pretty good RRBS (if you still run those).

Can swap the EANM or a hardener for a Gyro depending on what you're fighting but seeing how well abaddons do in those gangs compared to everything else I have adjusted my ideas about what a "good" tank on a BS is. Obviously you tweak em if you're fighting laserbaddons or drakes or whatever.

I like the active/passive combo because it's not stack penalised and you can overheat when you're actually getting shot.

I think two plates is a good ratio of resists / EHP.

    Re: Typhoon

Well since Helen decided to make the first post a kinda "comedy" setup here's a capwarfare gang setup. Never talked anyone into using it yet, you want 2 or 3 for a cap chain.

Designed to zapp the targets cap chain with 5 heavy neuts. 5x 600 = 3000 cap per 24s per ship.

Due to the Egress Port Maximizers working on the Transfers and Neuts only 2 Large cap transfers are required to fuel it without using cap boosters so 3rd is for spare/extra cap to Guardians etc.

100k EHP but with good resistances (73 lowest) before overloading and tech 1 tier 1 so cheap and insurable.

You can deploy sentries or rep drones plus have some spare drones.

    Code:
    [Typhoon, Cap Warfare]
1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
    Armor Explosive Hardener II
    Armor Kinetic Hardener II
    Armor Thermic Hardener II
    Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
    Damage Control II

Quad LiF Fueled I Booster Rockets
Heavy Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800

    Phased Muon ECCM Caster I

Bit unfair that setup saw a lot of use when I was in Coraco Ardente.
Even survived a few engagements, I guess discobs don't get used enough due to limited use and the requirement for good bubble placement tactics or just warp on cyno at 0km...

if you're just in for the dps.... the bonus to missiles is 'stronger' - projectiles more or less require two bonuses to be competitive:

Make sure to set the drones to active.
    It's 1209 dps before heat/implants.

does anyone nanophoon it anymore or does it not work these days?

I would assume you'd nanophoon with autos instead of torps but fuck I don't know because entirely too many of the old minmatar styles are outdated. (And I took too long off eve lolol).
A critical exception has occurred. The exception is FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Well torps do a ton more damage than ACs, plus you can fit 5 of them now, so. Torps and neuts would be my favoured setup imo.

Nanophoon could probably be done to some extent with snakes/loki booster, because it does have a high base speed. but yeah cause of 4 mids pretty much worthless.
