I used to produce for fun for about 6 years with FL and a ton of VST's. These I think are my best two I have done. I can't really give them a genre, which I kinda like because I didn't follow anything, it came straight from me.

I'm sure it's frustrating to be sperging about how someone said "no, not doing that yet" - but we've had 7 years to learn to pace ourselves after killing a block. And I dare say -- we've gotten quite good at it.
Sorry if it doesn't suit the armchair generals who have never committed to anything for more than 2 months, but by now we've learned that we really don't give a shit about what you think v0v.

^^ My current band. I play Bass, but also recorded and mixed the EP, we had it proper mastered.
meh
I didn't want to start a new thread, but what instruments or musical talent does FHC have?
I've been on the bagpipes for almost a year coming up in December, and I'm thinking of picking up the whistle or the JEW HARP:
Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, in that order. Also, I know production/studio stuff pretty well (I recorded and mixed example just a post above yours).
I am a collector of vintage tape echo's as well.
meh
Yeah, good stuff phoku5.
I haven't finished anything in quite a while![]()

This thread has me wondering....where the fuck is Exortius?
<&QuackBot> Fuggin: There once was a man named tugginfuggin. He oft tugged his fuggin. That is the tale of tugginfuggin.
Yo what'sup.
Haven't posted on these boards for ages but I do remember SHC used to like some of my old mixes. So I am now shamelessly selfpromoting a new mix.

It's fairly short, just under an Hour in 320kbs. I have tried to make 2h ones but then they get too big to upload and distribute with ease, plus it's a bit boring to record for two hours alone (heh). So, I am opting for more mixes recorded/made but they will be shorter. More fun for me!
Anyway, mix is called David Guetta Is Dead, is fully progressive house and minimal with some old school 2007 classics aswell as some newer underground songs. It's all made in the 07/08 era of mau5-style for an easy explanation. Ending is a tribute to DJ Mehdi, who passed away this year. Will update with a tracklist "soon".
Hope you enjoy and I will try and post some more shit!

Even so, I'm still sort of pleased with it for a first attempt.
You'll recognise some of these tunes if you've been listening to the stuff I've been posting in the 'What are you listening to now' thread. It's basically a load of tunes from the melting pool that is UK underground bass music right now. Expect acid, techno and garage flavours and lots of 808s.
I'd love any criticism that people can throw at me. I'm not trying to become a DJ, but I would like to learn how to mix properly.
edit: gonna re-upload it mates.

If you were a superhero you'd be The Incredible Fucktard with your ever-ready sidekick Douchetard Boy. Together, you fight intelligence and common sense where you go.
They tend not to be recorded, but as a trombonist I take part in quite a few classical concerts and events, including community opera. Last October the BBC Symphony Orchestra invited people to turn up and play with them at Maida Vale, and that led to a short recording of Tchaik 6 that was broadcast on radio 3. Those are probably the most interesting things I've done lately.
