So Niarja is under siege by the Triglavians.
Test is impotently raging about it with some exceptionally cringeworthy shit that would make the Mitanni blush.
This is great.
There's a highsec only route that's 46 jumps. As if JFing to nullsec didn't make you want to quit Eve already.
Edit: Does this make Amarr sided nullsec bad or no? Rich, but without good logistics?
I think you would be surprised. First, it helps reduce the risk of your JF being blown up. Second, let's say 1DQ to Jita adds 3 JF jumps each way because you can't highsec it. Since a freighter can do 3x the cargo of a JF, that's 18 extra JF jumps (3 jump, 2 ways, 3 times) vs. highsec hauling in freighter to a boarder system. Let's say its an extra 20 mil a jump in fuel, that's an extra 360 mil in fuel. If you divide that by 900k m3, that raises the prices by 400 isk/m3. That's a lot. It's an extra 6 mil for a BC hull. 20 mil for a BS hull.
Rough numbers, but you get the idea. Sure there is an argument that you should haul compressed ore and build stuff yourself. Sure, there is probably a close lowsec that works and makes it a JF jump or two instead of three. Either way, it still got more painful.
Just outsource the hisec part of the hauling. But then again being involved in alliance level logistics is perhaps one of the fastests ways to get rid of your eve addiction.
I dont mind it for us, though we live one JF jump from Jita so.... #easymode
I love it.
But I live in a wh, so im not affected in any way![]()

Just checked my safe route. 52 jumps.
Given Niarja's new sec status, can you put up/anchor bubbles and stuff? Not that I have much to lose (#poor #givemestuff) but it sure as fuck is annoying not being able to AP to Jita in like 20mins.
The thing in itself is pretty cool though, the idea of forcing disruption from a new angle is sort of an EVE trademark.
Another question, will the system be forever like this or just until invasion goes away/someone musters enough force to take it back?
Answer to your first question is no. While its technically Null sec space, you cannot light Cynos or anchor/use bubbles. As for your second question, no idea. CCP havent outright stated how long the system will remain as it is, and there is still a ways to go with knowing what will eventually happen to any systems under triglav control. Guess we will find out eventually though.
It helps to think of the Trig won systems as it's previous security, but with the new security status engagement rules. So Niarja is highsec, but with nullsec engagement rules. So "can i do something?" is answered by the highsec half, but "what happens when I shoot something?" is answered by the nullsec engagement rules half.
