It's honestly not that bad until about 15mins before the end, when things take a bit of a nosedive. Not quite the 50-storey faceplant onto concrete nosedive that it was before the extended cut, but its still far from perfect. Although at this point it seems people just make up how they think it should have ended in their head and it's about as valid as Bioware's ending.

$30 new now... may trade in some games for it.
Someone linked me this blog post by a video game developer, titled " Art and Appreciation". The whole ReTake thing stirred up a lot of discussion about the nature of art in the commercial sector, and this post seems like a response to some of it. Link here.
tl;dr -
...We often use art and the authority of the artist (or the author, or the director, etc.) as an abstract shield to justify choices we make contrary to the desires of an audience. We make a choice, an audience complains, and sometimes -- all too often -- we say, "Sorry, but art." This is unproductive deflection. This is an absurd, conversation-ending non-argument. It is presented as a wall that no criticism can breach. How is the critic intended to respond?...
If they want to keep selling their "art", then they better start listening.
If Mass Effect 3 was art I'm not sure if I would want to frame it and hang it on a wall.
Actually I really wouldn't.
well id like to hang those involved but not on my wall.
Leviathan DLC

Rumours were true then.
Why would anyone ever bother with that, considering it's going to be absolutely pointless...
What really bugs me about ME3 is the replay thing. Bioware wants you to replay the campaign with your ME3 character, so you can unlock weapons up to level 10, etc etc etc. So, there are six classes, no big deal, get a playthrough with a new one. Except they make you play the same damn class as your original ME3 character! I don't understand their rationale at all; why make you do up to twelve playthroughs?![]()
Domination.

My issue with replays is that there's strictly no point to it. To me. I never held ME (2, 3) combat in high regards so I couldn't care less if I'm playing a soldier or an adept through the simplified conversations, atrocious plot and hilariously bad ending, the motivation for that is just not there. This also makes story DLCs useless. This is the opposite of ME2 which I didn't like too much mechanically, but there was always the option to make some different decisions, try new squad mates and have a slightly different ending and hopefully (lolno) a character for a customized ME3 experience.
Is that the leviathan that the Batarians found ?
so the dlc will put you on the Batarian homeworld at some point?
vOv though, given the rest of the game plot. doing whatever to the leviathan won't alter the red/green/blue ending thing. Maybe a different slide in the slideshow at the end.
Don't worry I'm sure Dragon Age 3 will be amazing. Just like DA2, ME3 and SWTOR!
LOL Bioware, look what you've become.
Last game slightly connected to bioware i have purchased was bg2. Not going to change in future i think. Shrugs, not that it makes me sad, with barely any time for games just saved me a bit of money.
