    so, meh.
That sequence really only works for Destroy. As mentioned machines would remember, and with the Control ending you could just fucking ask Reaper Shepard (Reapard?).

In synthesis, the machines are no longer pure machine, they could forget. Control is dumb, yes :/
The above post is probably derp, and you might want to ignore it.

Actually, if Destroy does indeed wipe out the Geth then I find Control to be the most palatable option. Even if not, I don't find it entirely disagreeable.

    Unless you want to survive.

But what organism wants to survive, right?

Reapard playing galaxy police with legions of robotic squids doesn't equal survival?

Considering he got told "you'll die" no, it doesn't. Cos he doesn't think he'll live beforehand.

Being forever entombed in a giant murder machine doesn't sound too hot. Going insane in 3,2,1...

Oh. Well yeah. I thought you meant survival for people other than Shepard.

I'm cool with Shepard not surviving though. >_>

      Spoiler:
The normandy comes to evac your squadmates at the beam. This doesn't seem to make sense. The battle doesn't seem as if it can spare a frigate, and if it's that "easy" to get to the beam to rescue hammer, it opens other questions about the tactics being used.

I think thats probably why that sequence was not included before, it seems a bit out of place

      Spoiler:
That it doesn't get shot at by Harby could be justified by the Normandy's stealth systems. But as per ME2, the SR-2 isn't supposed to be capable of (easily) doing planetside landings, hence the requirement for a shuttle. And it still doesn't explain why they didn't use it to attack the beam in the first place. Or to attack the Reaper destroyer. Or for CAS. Or to casevac wounded that aren't Shepard's nearest and dearest.

And if the Normandy IS that good at stealth, why the fuck haven't they made a shitload of stealth bomber type ships to harass the Reapers with impunity? I gave up on the details of games/movies making sense a long, long time ago.

The problem is that they went to such pains to make the details in the universe make sense and be internally consistent.

Yeah, same here. Music plus the emotions of the choice/results is well done.
    But ME1=great, ME2=cooler, ME3=never good enough

yeah the music still works. i just went through the opening earth scene (even though i said i was never going to try to play this piece of shit again), and i did get the "emotional effect", but it was coupled with a strong affront to my sense of rightness, purely bittersweet. for instance, when the boy died in the shuttle, i marveled at the effectiveness of teh scene, but at the same time, muttered (yelled), "FUCK YOU BIOWARE".

His death was much more effective the first time I played, before I hated his character model and all it connotes.

That's really answered in ME1, isn't it? For the cost of the SR1, they could have a squadron of other ships. and the SR2 is bigger, more high tech, etc.

Prototypes tends to be that way. But bombers would be smaller, therefore cheaper, than mass produced Normandy Class ships. Also, if she was made with Turian's tech, where are turian SBs?
