    [TMA] T4 abyssals

    Have you figured out a reliable ship setup and method to get these done? I need help it seems.

    I've been trying the sacrilegie setup that Eve is Easy showed in a T5, but without the hard drugs (using the 3% ones instead) and maybe a tiny bit less bling. I've gotten to the point where I can do them 9 times out of 10 in sisi. But then there's that odd one where I can't seem to kill them fast enough and time runs out. 9 out of 10 is not enough to make it worth the risk with a 1b+ ship and a brain full of faction implants.

    How I've been doing them so far is burn for the exit as soon as I get in there. I deploy a swarm of drones to pop the extractors close to the entry point. Then scoop them once popped.
    I start killing shit as soon as they get in range since they start burning straight for me most of the time.
    Once close to the exit gate I drop a MTU and start orbiting that. When the enemies thin out I have the drones pop the ball hub thing aswell while I keep killing rats.
    With the tower madness in most T4 rooms I only use the drones for that an for extra DPS on battleships.

    I use Cal navy missiles on all things but the battleships as that seems to do the best damage, and switch to rage for battleships. Explosive on all that isn't rogue drone battleships, where I go thermal instead.

    Once the MTU is done I just scoop it and move the battle closer to the gate so that I can exit as soon as the last enemy pops.

    So most of the times this gets me out with 2-3 minutes to spare. Some times a batleship decides to go fuck off to the end of the world so I have to spend time chasing it. And some times the dps is just not enough somehow. And then I die to the timer.

    Halp. How do you guys do it differently to make it work?

    I used to run this; https://zkillboard.com/kill/72092445/ (got bored and switched to tripleboxing T5's in frigates)

    It died because i got lazy/greedy and dropped my nosf for a tractor beam and got neuted to death by a big leshak spawn (and forgot to bring my mid-grade akleps clone lol but it was the 0 cap that fucked me). With the correct clone and the nosf it should gave been fine and had no issues running T4's.

    As for running them;
    Time is by the far the most important thing to watch. Never waste any of it because 3x battleship spawns in a row can easily fuck you.

    Fucking around with MTU's are a waste of time, you only need to loot one thing.

    Burning to the gate instead of the NPC's means you're not shooting NPC's. This is a waste of time.

    Get to know the NPCs, that drifter BS that runs away costs a lot of time to catch up to so make sure he gets webbed & killed asap. Know which ships neut, these are dangerous. Know which ships are logi. Generally neuts and logi are priority targets, any hp a logi reps slows you down because you have to kill that HP a 2nd time.

    I never bothered switching away from rage unless its like a full frigate spawn. With the double webs everything dies quickly.
