Looks like your bog standard action/RPG but in an original setting. Made by Spiders which are imo a fairly talented bunch that lacked resources to make the game they wanted, this looks like their possible lucky break.

Looks cool
Gothic 7 ?
Please don't teach me what to do with my pc.
So, i've done the prologue.
Setting is... little inspired so far but i haven't seen any glaring issues.
Writing goes out of it's way to be subtle and nuanced with pleasantries and whatnot. I have only had the chance to speak with the higher classes, couple sailors and a soldier and they all offer immersive dialogue. VA is honestly pretty good, unbelievably so for the production value i expected.
Now, the facial animations are nothing to write home about but that's something i can totally live without. Unimportant NPCs also have the bad case of cloning which is totally understandable.
Quests were non-menial and already gave a couple of interesting choices, both in execution and outcome.
Combat is alright indeed, of the modern "soulsy" type with a pair of tricks on top. There is token stealth which will surely come in more handy after the prologue.
Character system looks straightforward enough, obviously i'm nowhere near anywhere to comment on it deeper. There is a full respec option which is always nice.
Inventory/crafting also seems to be highly functional without turning into a mess.
Graphics-wise i had some problems on ultra but i suspect it's due to my poorfag 4gb vram. As soon as i turned it down to highs - smooth sailing.
None of the usual suspects like sound glitching and whatnot were detected.
Overall a solid "worth a check if you are into RPG".
It's a firm wait till it's <£20 for me. Got burned buying Outward on release & ain't making the same mistake twice.
Fair few hours in, this is pretty damn good.
I am a munchkin so was doing all the tedious backtracking and side shit but now able to breeze through on hard. Anyways, the main quest line is all sorts of great.
Also two-handers are pretty fucking awesome as they not only damage multiple targets but also stagger them so you effectively can attack for longer.
I'm gonna buy this shit at full price which is 27 bux for rusland.
Also modders are getting on top of this

I was somewhere around Old Man Star, on the edge of Essence, when drugs began to take hold.
Massive discount on this for gog.com right now. If you haven't got a discount code, there's a reddit thread where people post theirs.
It's 60 % off on Steam right now, buy-time?
