Is the game propperly playable yet? or is it still very early access?
I'm not worried it's gona be shit, but I don't want to dig into it before the game is actually "there".
Like Solasta that only had enough to get a taste for it and then there was nothing mroe to do but wait for release.
50 beans for early access is a bit rich for my blood. I hope in time it proves to be worth the price.
I've been loosely following the development, and it is a "real early access" and not a finished game. Only part of the story is available, classes are still being added, sometimes save games cannot be used with new releases. It's good if you want to provide input into game development, because the developers have been pretty good at using community feedback in their previous games. From your description you should probably wait for the final product (which you can probably also get for less money).
When is the expected release date? And does the story make sense from BG2:ToB perspective?
No release date and they made a big time jump from bg2.
I have played the first act of the game a couple of times.
And it is going to take you 10-20 hours. There is a few bugs, but overall the game is very promising.
Voice acting 4tw, no more sitting and reading pages upon pages with conversation!
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
I let my impatience get the better of me and bought this a week ago.
What's there so far, is very, very, good.
I do have problems with some of the mechanics (I hate the way camping is done) but the content is excellent even if you can only get up to level 4.
Does the game have the annoying companion influence system that NWN2 and DA:O have?

Watched some Solasta gameplay on Twitch, not that impressed.
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
Release date for this is now "probably 2023" (as opposed to this year)
I'm okay with this, Larian has proved to be a very good developer.
Faith at maximum.
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
They're stuffing this game with stuff like a dragon size pinata so some more time to make it nice certainly makes sense.
